I've never modeled anything. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable modeling underwear. I think I'd feel horribly self-conscious.
Modeling jeans, that's another thing. But I need a certain amount of fabric covering my butt for me to be comfortable showing it.

My butt is actually on the small side, but it's just that I don't feel comfortable when I expose more than a certain amount of skin.
When I was in theatre school, my scene partner and I were assigned a love scene, and we decided to be brave and play it in our underwear.
It turned out to be a bad idea; we ended up feeling so self-conscious about our quasi-lack of clothing, we kind of momentarily forgot how to act. It was quite embarrassing. -
I can understand what you mean. To show that much is a sensitive issue for some folks and others relish in it and don't seem to care whatsoever.

Thinking back, it was quite bizarre, because I never thought it would bother me. After years of ballet and theatre, I got used to getting changed in front of people, and never had a problem with it.
So I was very surprised at how uncomfortable I felt when we played that scene. It probably had to do with the fact that we were in the spotlight and everyone was watching us. When you get changed in the same room with people you've known for years, you don't think about it after a while.
Plus it was our first love scene, so we were probably freaked out about that too.
The rehearsals were fun though!

I made a significant income from modeling, primarily from nude modeling for artists and photographers, from my college years until I became 50. (I am slender but too curvaceous to be a runway model. They are sticks. I have an hourglass figure. )-
AWESOME it takes a lot of guts to model in the nude. I have done it for lot's of money. I use to model professionally myself and went to Paris to model but never took it seriously enough to become great at it. I just can't sit still under the spotlight, my patience runs thin.

It takes self confidence, a solid contract, a formidable agent and an escort (bodyguard). I had all that and I primarily modeled for artists and photographers who I knew very well (no bodyguard required).

Just for the record I'm a commando sleeper - the superman boxer/briefs were brought as a gift along with "mr perfect" from the mr men series and also "mr happy" and a pair with the playboy bunny on them. I probably wouldnt have picked them myself. I like mine plain, other than my jack daniels pair.
Gotta be the budgie smugling cotton boxers though, the silk or satin ones don't offer enough support when you're at the gym. -

Nonsense. I don't believe that. Obviously, you have a bad body image. Here's a top boxer briefs are both more comfortable and more sexy than either briefs or boxers are. Any dark color is more attractive than white. The least sexy look of all is tighty whities - blech!

I haven't thought about it in years, but now that you ask--very basic white. No to everything else. (In Italy when I was a kid, I remember boy's underwear were very light blue. In retrospect that seems odd.)-

Well have to admit, growing up in the UK I was more Marks & Spencer's than Victoria's Secret.
I remember an underwear piece I once did for a column I used to write, and then I considered my audience and chickened out. It was good though. Maybe I'll blog it when I get courageous.

Humm... I've noticed most girls aren't big fans of keeping them on when it gets to that point... so I've never stopped them to evaluate...
Which is interesting... I actually like slowing things down to appreciate a girl in her bra and panties (and I won't say why here)... but females tend to like to get on with it when they've decided to go down that road...
Perhaps that difference is why there's a huge industry for seductive women's wear vs. basic guy underwear.

When I wear jeans, shorts, or in the winter, I prefer jockey for her cotton bikinis. I can't stand big underwear! I like cotton because they are nice and soft.
In the summer, I like to go pantiless when I wear sundresses (just love the nice breeze!). My husband seems to like that too.
