Polybore is not a huge fan of golf however watching 59 year old Tom Watson's exploits at the oldest and most prestigeous golf competition ie The British Open has inspired polybore.

After two days and 36 holes Tom Watson is joint leader over a field of the worlds best golfers (one of his playing partners is 16).

Anyway watching Tom Watson holing a 50ft foot put for joint lead at the 18th hole today has left polybore in a upbeat mood. Great to see someone late in their career, at the top of their game and gracious with it. A true Gentleman.

Win or not Scotland should get to keep him.

Any current news items given you a lift recently?

I don't follow the news, but I read inspirational things on BC blogs every day. In fact most of the people around here are pretty inspirational.

Thanks Epicharis, careful with that girdle now...

Polybore v2.0 started walking about 4 weeks ago so polybore no longer able to remain static. Also the fine weather has seen polybore tackling various vigorous and herculean out door tasks which result in a very good night sleep.

ah...you have what they call 'a life'...
    3. polybore
Indeed. It is necessary for polybore's assimilation with the indigenous life forms on this this planet.

A BBC radio presenter proposed to his girlfriend by filming himself dancing around in his pants miming to Daniel Bedingfield, hired out a cinema and told his girlfriend he was taking her to see an arty film and then had the film play after the adverts.
