I wanted to be a paranormal investigator, taking photos of UFO's and running around discovering the loch ness monster and ghosts. I actually have a drawing I did as a kid for class, while everyone else was drawing soldiers and firemen (it was an army town).
What about you?

Chinese, paleontologist, cognitive neuroscientist, classical musician (I actually did the last one, almost did the one before it, still love paleontology, but have changed my mind about Chinese).

FOr a while I wanted to be a comptometer operator. What's a comptometer? I didn't know either but I wanted to operate one. Then I found out it was an early type of computer and went off the idea.
For a while I wanted to be a market researcher.
Eventually I got into career counselling so I could help other people decide what they wanted to do. It seemed to fit somehow. -
The President... no lie, I had my heart set on it. Then somewhere in my teenage years, I decided I'd just like to work in politics in some form... and then after spending four years getting BA in Political Science and interning on a few campaigns, I decided it just wasn't for me at all. And now I work in... Financial Services. Doesn't make sense, I know, but I'm pretty happy. I do still have big dreams about going out and changing the world, though.
