What do feel like doing in Rain?

Its the first rain of the season. They came late here. I am so glad it is finally raining. I am planning to go home wet. Totally drenched.

BTW what would you like to do?

  You go work outside in the rain/mud/heat for 8-10 hours a day then you can tell me to not dampen your spirits. Its rained almost everyday.

It is late evening and it is pouring outside. The afternoon was hot but now temperature has dropped. It is very pleasant and I can smell the earth. The dusty tree outside my window has been washed spanking clean. My lemon tree in a pot looked as if it could do with some watering when I saw it this afternoon. Now, nature's watered it. I just love watching it rain... from inside the comfort of my house. I would hate to be outside... Some roads would be flooded. There is a traffic jam outside and I am so glad I reached home before that.

California is currently going through a drought. I would love it if it rained in Los Angeles, California again, even just a little. When (and if) it does rain and it's sunny, I look for a rainbow opposite of the sun. If I can keep my eyes open in the rain I try to watch how fast the clouds move. I would smell the rain and inhale its subtle, clean scent. It would be so refreshing. Yes, refreshing rain ...
