      I sense your sarcasm...

      ... and it's completely appropriate.

So, do you have drink recipes on your site? Or just muffins?
    5. cookingasshole
actually there was no sarcasm believe it or not!
I do have drink recipes but not that many. Tell me your poision and I will give you a recipe here.
    6. DollinNYC

Well, thanks, then for enjoying my little pun.

    8. cookingasshole
ewww...gross No I do not know a recipe for those from scratch but I did post a recipe for a strawberry rum drink which would probably be better...

I'm a web + print designer for an e-retailer. I'm also a snowboard instructor on the winter weekends. I wish snowboarding was my full time job though.
  11. Floormodel
In the Winter I sell antiques/shiny objects that amuse me and restored furniture, in the Spring/Summer/Fall I find those antiques/shiny objects and restore furniture.
I used to run a daycare but retired from it about five years ago so that I could earn less but enjoy what I do more. Plus toddlers got faster and I got slower.
    1. cookingasshole
that sounds really cool and fun!
    2. Floormodel
it is. My dream was to own a small used book store / antique shiny objects shop in a small town but that never materialized. This is close enough I think. I picked up furniture restoration as a hobby and fell in love with it. I help out a dear friend with ads and other proof reading things and in return the company he works for gives me supplies so it's not too rough on me financially. I'm happiest when I'm sanding or restoring the beauty to an old piece of wooden furniture. It erases my stress and in a sense gives a bit of history to the future.
My goal for next year (2010) is to begin restoring an antique wooden boat, just to see if I can.
    3. ThriftShopRomantic
That does sound terrific. I've refinished a few pieces in my time, but have never sold any. I love that you're getting to do something you really enjoy.
    4. cookingasshole
whoa! good luck. It will be sweet to take that first spin in the boat you restored.

I have an on-call job. I help out a lady who organizes and declutters offices and homes. Imagine a home office with 3 feet of papers piled on top. I go through it all, organize it, get rid of the unnecessary stuff. We also do homes with way too much stuff, sometimes knee deep in junk (usually OCD cases).

I am working as something that I should not be, however I am thinking of quitting and try my luck to be a charming lecturer (reason? I sleep only 3-4 hours per day, I have so many times left than just 8hours of working in the office: I want to work more hours than that, not a second job but maybe a single job with 10-12-15 of working hours - and being a lecturer can give me all that desire, stop at 5 o'clock but still I need to read plenty of books, jurnals etc more3...)
