So what do you do for living?

No, not really. I'm a full time stay at home mom, who writes and paints/sculpts freelance, and generally find some sort of part time job.-

I'm a sumi-e painter. Unlike most I paint on stoneware with oxides, as opposed to painting on mulberry paper with inks. Sumi-e is an East Asian brush painting technique that has been practiced for thousands of years in both the Chinese and Japanese traditions. Its literal translation is, "ink painting." Simplicity is the most outstanding characteristic of Sumi-e. It is an art form that strives to "distill the essence of an object in the fewest possible strokes."
I also operate a small business from home and I do contract work (research and writing) as well.-

IT consulting, blogging, and I get paid to let scientists toy with me at NASA, hahaha... definitely the most unusual way I have ever made money! But totally worth it, I have made some great friends, met some truly brilliant people, and learned a lot about space science. It is what my blog is about:

I actually have to be very careful when I refer to any of my merchanise as "Food" since, technically, the canned goods, pastries and snacks I sell are primarly composed of preservatives, chemicals and edible oil products. But thanks, I love it.

How long have you been in this business? -
A few years. I worked as a photocopier repair man for a long time. Those were dark days. Repetitive work. Every day a repeat of the prior. Eventually I convinced my brothers Raj and Clarenence to join me in starting this business. They have both left since and I remain, manning the shop alone. Sorry, probably more than you needed to know

Ready? Ok, I'm in the military, I blog, I'm raising two children, caring for 3 dogs, coaching one soccer team of 10 4- 5 yr olds and taking care of my bipolar spouse. I only get paid for the military... that's not even a lot. But gotta be thankful for the crappy healthcare...-

I spend my days pretending college is worth it. At night I face the facts and work in the hope of avoiding homelessness post-graduation. -
I do secretarial and bookkeeping work for my husband's small record company so he won't have to hire additional help. It's nice because I can do it at home while he watches the girls. If they are having a good time and things are going well I slip over here and hang out at blogcatalog. :-) -
I am a Web development Chief for a group of developers and I have to manage them.... So i deal with a lot of open source R & D, coding and my daytime job is like 10 hours.. then try to write my blogs from home... well its kind of tiring.. -

My husband and I own and operate a small vacation resort in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, called Sandy Point Resort & Disc Golf Ranch. We're only there in the summer. In the off season, he sells golf discs on ebay and I write books and design jewelry. These additional cottage-businesses make enough to pay the expenses.-
I hope that is all as awesome as it sounds.
You have the life I want, a resort in the woods and writing. I got the woods part covered... now if only I could write well. :-)
I only saw disc golf for the first time a few years ago when a tournament was held near my home in the mountains of Colorado outside of Bailey.
I've still not tried the game.

Nothing. I've been looking for a job. After i'm done with school there are a couple of options though. Firefighter, Detective, or Pro MMA. And if I decide to continue, maybe a surgeon. -
I Am Recessionista! On the serious side, I am currently working in Corporate America, and just started my blog which is growing every day. I love blogging, and I can see why so many people do. Check out my blog sometime. I want to be a full-time blogger...perhaps someday. Wish I can do that now! -
