help help....
ok, I am in a terrible mood today due to plans being messed up and the way someone is acting about it. I told the person how I felt - and have made my own plans now ...
my problem is I am still SO mad (and disappointed). Like my heart is still racing and I just want to scream.
what do you do when you are mad to calm yourself OR make feelings subside?
I want to get out of this funk so i do not ruin my own night.

go ,run around - like choose a circular pattern (long and big one) or choose stairs (go up and down)... make urself sweat ! do it for almost 15-20 minutes... and then sit down to ask urself how much mad you are then ! try out ! i have better ways than this,,... but this one is specially for you.. okay !

Who said anything about madness?
To take remedial action is to take action to remedy the problem.
When I got mad at a former tenant for skipping out owing two months rent and damaging the property and killing the garden with neglect, I took her to court and won. I am now in the process of having her BMW seized and sold at auction to pay the debt.
When I was faced with a cheating husband, I divorced him got good alimony. That made HIM mad, but I stopped being mad just as soon as the judge agreed with me.
When something makes me mad, I address it directly by taking an action that fixes the problem, one way or another.

I normally write something down, doodle something or say bad words, very bad words, then let it go
Screaming can help and kicking something (not a cat). -
Here are some other things you can do when you start to feel mad:
*talk to a friend you can trust
*count to 10
*get or give a hug
*do jumping jacks or another exercise
*draw a picture of your madness
*play a video game
*run around the outside of the house five times as fast as you can
*sing along with the stereo
*pull weeds in the garden
*think good thoughts (maybe about a fun vacation or your favorite sport)
*take a bike ride, go skateboarding, play basketball - do something active! -

all you have here with you at your place is all in a mix of everything... from the very important aspects of your life to the most negligible aspects which in themselves play around a big part of how u feel and how u deal... so choose not to play game with them unless u knw what happens - how, when and why in you... and recommended is to be a spectator to the events ~ see, experience and choose to act in your life from very core of yours , counting every single step of yours to be precisely directed by you.

The way I see it... is if someone makes me angry... then they are controlling me and/or the situation...with their actions, words...whatever.
My staying mad only gives them more control. I just can't have that!

It is a normal emotion, your only problem now is how to dispel/discharge your anger in a manner acceptable and healthy for yourself. Learn to control your anger. Transforming it won't do you any good. Keep meaning to understand the reason for the immediate change in the plans. The earlier you come to terms with your feelings, the better.

i sit aside alone and think for sometime, that how i can remove this madness but it doesn't works much. so i play guitar and sing songs loud. i laugh on the situation and i also cry sometimes cause they both remove tension and takes mind on a different way. .
madness comes on me once in year or in month.
it is toggling situation and take me to stable state -
I generally drink a bottle of Jack Daniels, load up a couple of semi-automatic rifles, and go out on the town.

First I go really silent. I am silent anyway, so if I go silent, I'm dead silent. If I tell anyone I'm really angry right now, I probably giggle. Then I write a blog entry with some heated words in it, like I did yesterday. Or if it's about a person I can't blog about, then I find an unsuspecting friend to vent out to. Then I continue being silent, until I've calmed down enough to think straight again. I think it could be said "I ride it through." To be honest, anger is one of my favourite emotions, but I don't get angry that often.

When I'm mad, I listen to hate music (a lot of screaming) in full volume possible and I let them do the screaming for me.
try this and you'll feel better.
Same thing applies when I'm sad, listening to saddest songs (www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/worlds-saddest-songs), until I realize that there are sadder people out there.
