"Maam, I know you are calling about such and such, but for $20 extra a month you can get "blank". No thank you? Well how about this instead....." Ugh!

I hate the interactive voice response systems with a passion.
"Just say what you want to do. Say 'help' for customer service."

I never thought I'd ever be nostalgic about pressing the numbers on my touch-tone phone
I feel VERY sorry for the reps who get to deal with clients after they've finally navigated through that kind of maze. -
