I have trouble letting go of magazines, books I've read, and old stereo equipment. What about you?

    Nothing. I despise clutter.

My wife's the same way. I'm a bit of a handful for her, at times.

    Books, dolls, and bake ware.

    Books and paperwork.

I knew that about you...I could just tell. I love stationary. With emails taking over, my supply has quickly grown to enough to match my tea (listed lower on this discussion.)

You should see my rubber collection

i grew up with a pack-rat mother, so i am like an anti-hoarder. i don't really understand why people get attached to objects, but I may only be that way because all the clutter drove me crazy while i was growing up. what is the appeal of keeping things one doesn't need or use?
    1. DaniG
Step away from the tea, Pillow. Or somebody gets hurt!

LMAO... what no tea-sharing? tea i can understand, i also keep loads of tea, but i also drink 3-4 cups a day, so there is turnover.

I try not to hoard anything as I hate clutter. I used to collect various things but the older I get I don't even want to do that. Now, I just feel like let it all go, get it outta here!! LOL!! It's seems I can't think straight in clutter.

Tea. I've got 25 years of it stocked up...

But, I AM happy to share. Unfortunately, none of you are close enough to enjoy that offer.

Screw the tea...I want the brandy!
    2. DaniG
Hahaha!!! You can have some of the apricot, but if you touch the crabapple, I'll have to hurt you. And there's NO WAY Ken's football buddies are getting near the crabapple stuff! It's too good. (I'm still smiling that after waiting 3 months, it turned out so good.)

I'll wait for the sour cherry...

I have vintage lamp addiction. I love old lamps, rewiring them, and using them. If I see a good one for cheap, it takes serious willpower for me to pass it up.

I've given them away to family and friends because I enjoy their character so much, and I want them to go to good homes.
    1. DaniG
What a great collection! Bet your friends LOVE you for sharing it with them.

Fortunately my friends have similar taste to me, so don't mind me foisting lamps on them.

One of my friends just bought a house, at the beginning of October, in fact, so I gave her two as a housewarming gift.

But I still have way too many. I need to love lamps less.

I have a massive collection of Joan Rivers' Memoribillia. Add to it weekly.

I do like keeping books by certain authors. I have a lot of DVDs too. But not sure books and dvds would qualify as being horded?

Nothing. I even got rid of myself.

Wow! Who writes your blog for you NP?
    2. nothingprofound

OK, then, if you aren't there, then you can come have tea with me. I've got enough you can have seconds...and thirds, and thirtyeths. I'm guessing you don't use cream or sugar...

I hoard half-written articles and topics that inspire. If I never wrote another new article, I believe I have enough material to last until next summer.

The subscribers in my other blogs (and previous blogs) have stated that I sometimes post too frequently.

I hoard pre-1982 copper pennies. The pennies made after 1982 after are zinc. The copper value of the true copper penny is double the value of the coin. However...we are talking pennies. Is it worth the trouble? NO! But I check my pocket change anyway. These are getting harder to find.

I hoard money. Maybe I'll make a blanket out of it and sleep in it. It's just one of those things.

I've saved every book that I loved to read since I was six. I also have a huge collection of 70's and 80's music on vinyl.
