WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A BLOG?

Does readability matter to you? Is the content key? Do good resources and good design play a factor? How about social features?

I appreciate original material. Sometimes you see the exact same thing on a dozen blogs (and these aren't splog either). If you can say something well, and put your own spin on it, I will have a better appreciation of what you are saying.
On the flip side, if people post my content and give me credit, I appreciate it too.

My preference is for 3 / 4 pillar postings, which are clean & easy on the eye. Too much design can detract from a good blog & turn people off (IMHO), also advertising plastered on every available space will not have me adding to my RSS

I'm always curious about the design and easy navigation.
Next comes readability.
I may get back if the design & the navigation is not suitable for me.
I'll only stay back if its worth reading
