I love the joy of my children, watching them grow.

I love the coastal/island environment that I live in. I love the landscapes, sky scapes and the ocean scapes. I love my friends, family and almost all of the people and animals, both domestic and wild who are part of the environment and social fabric of my community.

I love the community I live in and the way our local government and regional government is structured, which is different than all other locations. I love the self reliant, responsible, eco-minded attitudes of the cooperative, creative and innovative islanders that comprise my community.

I love having access to high quality, organic, locally produced food. I love the fact that our local charitable organizations feed the hungry and heal the sick, and celebrate and support committed loving relationships, without discrimination.

I celebrate the fact that I am healthy, educated and skilled enough to be able to contribute to making a positive impact in my community, a positive impact that will become a legacy that the next generation of islanders can benefit from and improve upon.

Originally, I chose not to say that I love the fact that I have a happy and healthy relationship with my man, my best friend, my lover, who I respect, admire and cherish. I also forgot to say that I love the friends I have made online (some are right here at BC), and that I'm grateful for the friendships we have made, and for their support through trying times.

I love being pretty much the mistress of my own destiny and that I've been given that opportunity. I love being up early enough to see the moon (when it's not cloudy)and being able to see the galaxy of stars shining down on me at the start of a new day. It reminds me however big my problems might seem I'm just a tiny speck in the universe. That and a glorious sunrise put the whole day in perspective.

I try to focus on the little daily things, like a nice day of weather, a pleasant lunch, a great discussion, a good book. I don't love my life, per se, but life itself is well-worth having, and I'm very appreciative of some of the things in it.

      Like the new salad bar!
    2. ThriftShopRomantic
Heh, yes. Like the new salad bar. It's silly, I know it, but it made me so happy.

I love that it can end at any single moment.

I had a 15 year-old friend die of en enlarged heart which he had from birth.
    One day it just...stopped.
I actually just posted about that a couple hours ago...

We gotta love people everyday, no matter what. Cause when the end comes, wwhat else really mattered? The money you made, the car you drove, the house you owned, won't really matter...when its all over, the differences you made with love is your legacy.

check out that post, i like it

i'd have to say that i'm miserable and loving it, after all, it's so much better than being truly miserable, which is reserved for dentists and people serving time. the smell of a full garbage bag, the sight of a flat tire, these are the things i cherish in my miserable life.

I was able to survive and still surviving ...

I love being alone with my thoughts, I love the way everything seems to eb connected in a roundabout way and that people you briefly encounter one day could be much more significant to you the next. I like the way the seasons are, and most of all I love the beauty of music and wildlife.

Yesterday I took a walk through Albuquerque's Old Town, on a gorgeous bright sunny fall day. That's something to love!

About life in general: I love the number of do-overs I seem to get. I live a relatively non-traditional life, and it's worked out great.

About my life, specifically: I love my sons. They're awesome.
  14. loverofjazz
life, however bad it may get, is infinitely preferable to death and nothingness.
chocolate chip cookies are also nice and i'm pretty sure there's no cookies once you die.
    so let's sum up:
    life + cookies = ok.
death - cookies = not good.

I love feeling life to wink at me in my most desperate hours.

I love the fact that I have a new life. A life like I have never known. I love the fact that I used to be a practicing alcoholic. If I had not been, I would not be who I am today. I could go on and on about blessings and the like, but I won't. My list grows daily.

About life in general, I love the variety around me and that I'm able to enjoy it. About my life I love my wife, she understands me and even when she doesn't she is by my side.

to be totally honest, no i do not love my life. I should, but i don't most of the time. I think it has to with greed and boredom. I wish i could live more in the moment, but most of the time, i complain about how stressed, bored, and poor i am. You only realize how happy you were when u get older.

When i was 15, i couldn't wait to be 16 so i could drive. When i was 18, i couldn't wait until 21 so i could buy my own drinks. When i was 23, i couldn't wait to become more mature. Now that i am climbing the 30s ladder, i wish i could go back to when i was 3. we are rarely satisfied of the present. Grass is always greener analogy works with time as well.

I have enjoyed all thoughts and comments on this subject. Bloggernoob-LIVE for today-the past is the past and cannot be altered or changed-but the present and the future-it's all in your hands. Happiness is from within-it's not something that can be bought or sold. We can choose whichever path we want in life and our choice will determine where we go in life.

I really love to learn and be challenged every day. I'm grateful that I get to do that!

I love so much about my life, my family, my fiance, my friends...etc. But today I just got a new puppy! A teeny tiny Chihuahua mix. She's the cutest little thing. I woke up early to get her and drove an hour each way, but she was so worth it. She's rescue dog, so I felt really good about getting her. I wish I could have gotten her brothers also =(. But right now, she is what I love the most about my life.

What I love is my ability to recover from sexual abuse, to feel whole, to feel that my integrity is in place and to feel that I have the ability to love

I love each day, even the boring, nothing special, ordinary days. Fighting a life-threatening illness makes "normal" all the more wonderful.

I love it all. I've made the decision to enjoy my life, and that's exactly what I'm doing! What a great question. I've really enjoyed reading all the responses.

being alive is great, because dead is simply non existence.
  31. EnergyNoCrash
It used to be, when I was younger, all about having more. With the current economic crisis I appreciate what I have. We do find nobility during hard times.
  32. leslie123
Keep the discussion rolling... I know there has got to be more folks out there that want to share what they LOVE about LIFE!

    Please contribute!

The fact that I have good food on my table and a good roof over my head makes me love my life. The best part is I have someone to love life with.

Hot water is what I love about life. Things are pretty low around here so I am very thankful for the blessing of hot water...oh yeah and a roof over my head.

The greatest wife ever gifted by the Almighty to any man on earth. Had her for 50 glorious years before her death in 2000. I still drive to the lakeside every day, feed the ducks, and meditate--reminisce over the deeply fulfilling life I had with her, and thank the Lord for such a wondrous gift.

      Jack... that is beautiful.

I love that we have freedom, not everyone can say that.

What do I love most about MY life? My memories. I've done and still do some pretty amazing things, and have amazing people around me.

I love my family. I love doing things with my son. I love the moments I have with my wife (she's in school, so these are kind of rare right now). I love (aspects) of my job; it has an acceptable work to b.s. ratio. I love that I am able to write and that I've lost 15 pounds in the last year.
  45. lordiwanttobewhole
I feel gratitude for so much these days....even though circumstances are difficult, I choose to look at the positive. I make that choice daily. We can only chose our attitude, not always our circumstances. I love so much about my life. I appreciate and love people in my life. I love the changes I've gone through. I love the word possibilities.

One is as though nothing is a miracle.
