Yesterday's big talk on the radio and the net was the scientology video showing Tom Cruise rambling on. Have you seen it? If not, there is one here defamer.com/344987/the-tom-cruise-indoctrination-video-scientologists-dont-...
Most of the videos have been pulled off but that one is still intact for the time being. So....... what does everyone think??

Cruise has lost his mind. What kills me is that they silence any one that mocks them - like when South Park had to pull their scientology bashing episode - yet episodes bashing mormons, catholics, and jews are somehow okay?

I guess L. Ron Hubbard is off limits and not allowed to be lampooned.

Show me one culture that scientology has "united" as they claim, or some evidence that they are the "authority on the mind." The "your with us or against us" stuff is alarming. That laugh is pretty creepy as well.

    Tom who?

Actually, I can't make sense of Hubbard at all

He is totally brainwashed by this. To me, it has all of the signs of a cult. Besides, why do all of these Hollywood actors think we give a crap what they preach? They are not an authority just because they are famous. I wonder what Katie's opinion is on all of this. Oh nevermind, I presume she is not allowed to have one!

Cults are very interesting phenomenas and it's each persons choice to be part of one and the right of each individual, regardless of how twisted it may seem to outsiders. If a person wants to be so called 'brainwashed' I think it is totally intentional and they need the cult more than the cult needs them. There are cult people everywhere functioning in sane organisations and religions and also sane people finding 'safety' of some sort in a cult.

I can't and wouldn't pass judgement on Scientology, in my quest for understanding them I tried to find gems of wisdom in Dianetics but I think it needed subtitles for me to understand it, I couldn't see anything of value and usually I'll find something useful and inspiring. They used to do a lot of mailouts and I found that much scarier than the books, regardless what I wrote to them it just kept coming, for about 6 years.

There have been and still are some great musicians that Scieo's. (I just made up that slang). Free will is a very interesting thing.

You know, I once played a fighter pilot on the big screen, so allow me to instruct you on how you should live your life!

What they don't get is that in my mind they are the same thing as muppets. This is no different to me than Kermit the Frog announcing his support of a candidate. Tom - you make movies.....you don't change the world. You aren't that important, no matter how many times you tell yourself you are during your daily affirmation in front of your mirror.

But see.....this is what happens when chicks universally find someone hawt. We get creeps like this thinking they are better than they really are.

Of course it is his right to be a part of a cult. Just as it is my right to think he is a loon

sure it's his right - but why is anything that can be portrayed as negative to scientology being banned from places like youtube and comedy central, while other religions can be assailed repeatedly under free speech? That's the real problem here.

In the immortal words of Stan Marsh in the South Park Cartoon Wars episode:
"dude, either all of it is okay, or none of it is okay."

interesting, i didn't realise it had been banned

That video is truly unbelievable. At first I thought that someone just put it together to make him look a little nutty. But I watched it twice and realized that he really is that extreme. What's the deal with all of those initials he kept using?

In the end he'll get his unless he turns to God

One thing is for sure... he ended any debate regarding how much of that crap he really believes... he doesn't have one toe in the pool... he's all the way in..
