What do you think of the "Yes We Can" video that was produced by Hollywood in support of American unity and of course Barrack Obama's candidacy for the President of the United States of America?

Since we are not just simple observers, but also content producers I want you to judge it on all levels. I have included a link to a post I just did that provides some background on how it was produced. I think the production process really adds to what I see as the convergence of everything democratic about tools, the Internet, and America. Even though we are looking at Hollywood stars this could have easily been produced by a couple kids in high school.

Ignore the title, I was just blown away at the time because I am a Barrack supporter. If you really want to be blown away listen to the Will.I.Am podcast before you watch the video.

I made a post about this video on my blog the day it came out. I think it is fantastic. I love how they made it in black and white and how simple it is as well. I think it did a great job of getting the feel of unity across and a very powerful message, that of Barack Obama.

    Obama '08 !

This video must have really touched people because everyone is talking about it. I sent it out to all of my friends. People are sending it back to me. This is at least the second conversation on here about it.

I think this is great. We, as a nation, are finally thinking about big ideas and feeling something other than apathy.

Well its only been viewed by 20M or so people out of 300M here in the U.S. and another couple billion with Internet access around the world. I guess we we're the early ones. It's not suppose to go away after 5 days

I didn't mean I want it to go away. I'm glad it's having an impact.

I happen to like it and think it was a great speech. If you think about it, when was the last time we had a president or presidential candidate that said anything that may go down in history as full of spirit and uplifting the people? Things he says takes me back to days of King and Kennedy. So yeah, I like them.

So what about the production turn around time? Does anyone have video experience to give us some idea of how much something like that would cost on a limited budget?

I think we should look to see if anyone else recently posted on a subject before starting a new thread. See the link Cooper provides above.

I started this thread before that one. The fact that she answered in the other...
