Are there any other company like Google Adsense which pays us for ads and search option? If yes! which ones are they? I want some more reliable besides Google Adsense. As google got strict polices.

Please help

That same ad still show up on your Bear and the Man article!

      PS// back on topic

There are lots of alternatives to adsense. Currently I am also using the following options, although I have had most success with TLA and LW combinations//
      chitkika.com
      amazon.com
      text-link-ads.com
      linkworth.com
      auctionads.com
      blogkits.com

      lmao that is funny.
The funniest and worst ad I ever saw on my blog was about
Wear porkchop underwear, be a dogs friend?

It was really wierd. I don't know what I wrote on my blog for Dogs and Porkchop underwear to pop up... I really wanted to click on that ad just to see if it was some kind of a joke, but it's my ads so i couldn't.

The strict policies Google have set up, most others like Google have policies.
Kontera does also. I think the ones place were I see blogs would be banned by google, they have Blog Ads ( www.blogads.com/ )on their site.
From what I understand you also need to be invited by someone to get into this program.

Also using your Brain and creativity helps lol

PetLvr: How are you doing with LinkWorth. I want to keep the 70/30 split so I did not upgrade. If it's going to be free, it should be FREE, in my opinion, but whatever. So I am trying to get a foot in the door but no one is biting. I think I can prove myself to LinkWorth's advertisers with just one shot, but no one will give me a chance.

Did you upgrade to the 50/50 membership? What has your experience been with this. I have been approved for about three weeks but I have not had any advertisers bite.

cardiogirl .. I am signed up with 50/50 on all my sites. I was going to try the 70/30 but, it requires a little more work on my part keeping track. I figure when I reach that stage I'll move to a 100/0 model. This way, they just send me an email to approve, and in the same motion gives me the code (replacing old code) for new sponsors or removed sponsors. I like Linkworth. Some have advised me that I am charging too low, but for now - my plan is $5/extra per month of my TLA rates just to have the extra 3 lines.

If I can offer advice .. I would adjust your site to make it more attractive for sponsors. I would shrink the width of the main image to the same size as the green search box and place it above that in the sidebar. Then replace the large graphic with 468x60 adsense and bring the content up. I would remove the adsense in the sidebar and place a "sponsor me" button above the BlogHer ad and create a section for sponsors so they know how to advertise on your site and where the ad will go. You can look at the sidebar of my Battling-Obesity.com come for both how I feature sponsors. Finally, despite what the archive titles look like, I would still keep mentioning 'cardio' and other related terms and topics if possible to get people interested. I've been noticing that fitness equipment sponsors move around more but health sponsors stick around longer.

And if that still doesn't get any bites.. send an email to Ron Wicker and ask them if they have any suggestions to better attract their advertising clients to your site at support@ .. 50/50 means he's not making money either! Actually, all ad companies are easy to talk to - it never hurts to ask.

PS: forgot to answer the question. How am I doing? I broke $100 but not $200 per month, and they pay on the 10th. It's a nice routine if I can get the numbers up in all areas. TLA pays on the 1st and Adsense pays on the 24th. Usually if there are affiliate cheques they come (if ever) mid month.

Hey thanks so much PetLvr for the advice. I am in transition right now; would you mind taking a peek at my new site www.cardiogirl.net ? I addressed a few of your issues over there but WordPress is being wonky and fighting my attempt to add a third column on the upper right hand side. I shall overcome WordPress and make it my b!tch soon enough.

Anyway, the new site is going to be the final site and I wonder what you think of that pad. When I signed up here I wasn't sure if I was going to purchase my own domain. I have since done that and incorporated changes to make my site more "advertiser-friendly."

Thank you so much in advance!

p.s. What's this about a 100/0 model at LinkWorth? After you prove yourself you can increase your profits? How does that set up benefit LinkWorth?
  7. PetLvr
that 100/0 model is when I replace my HART-Empire-Network.com/advertise page and stop using TLA/LW and manage it all myself.

I'll look at the new site now //

I think it will be good cardio! My suggestion for now would be to place the name of your blog and it's tagline (both under the left sidebar graphic) and place it above the content. You can separate your blogname and tag with an adsense link-unit or maybe a horizontal blogher banner. In your about section, I would move the designer portion to the footer. It's supposed to be about you! The clickage area would then be nice for your sponsors.. You could place a text link "Advertise Here" and link to your LW account or get the code for the banner once logged into LW. // I would suggest changing your Options/Permalinks to .. /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/ .. or similar (and change link in About section afterwards). I assume you will figure out what to do with the uncategorized categories. It's big though, and you probably don't want many per post. And speaking of which, that permalink is redundant to the title link - I'd place your name cardiogirl there. // hope that was constructive not destructive!

    Thanks PetLvr!

Sorry meredilse I got sidetracked by PetLvr's LinkWorth info. I am using BlogHer ads, Google AdSense and attempting to write reviews. I did one review today from SponsoredReviews. I am approved at LinkWorth but haven't gotten any interested parties yet.
    1. meredilse
      Don't be sorry!

Even I got good info too. I signed up for LW and Auctionads. TLA didn't approve my application don't know why. But I am getting decent amount from Adsense. But would like to generate as much as I can So let's see!

I got question for LW, as i signed up for combo. now i am confused when i go to their page. as They ask from CC information. Can anyone explain me please!
    2. PetLvr
Meredilse ..the CC information is for the advertisers who want to sponsor blogs like us .. when you signed up for a 'combo' .. was that for both selling ad spots and buying them? If so - there's your answer

PetLvr: Thank you so much for taking the time to really check my stuff out. I really appreciate your comments and did find all of them useful. It drives me up the wall when I ask someone for opinions on my site and I get "looks good" as a response.

You clearly took time to check it out and I appreciate your help. Thanks again!

Um, what's a Permalink and what does it do?

I make most of my money from consulting and direct advertising. But of course I teach people how to make money with affiliate marketing and that's how all the big bloggers I know generate revenue.

You know, I think it`s faster to start a career at Wal-Mart mopping floors and I bet your income will beat 99 % of bloggers trying to become rich just blogging
