My username is timethief because I had a terminal illness and outlived it. I fought the grim reaper for my life and I won it back. I also struggle everyday to make the time to blog in while running a small business. So, I'm a timethief. -
The best way to get blogging advice is to be specific and provide details on the exact area you need help with. It's also important to state which blogging software you use eg. blogspot. When it comes to asking blogging questions in forum threads you can use the "Blogging Help" category on the posts you make. Before you make them you can use the forum discussion searchbox to see if your question has already been answered www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/blogging-help

It means a rooster that is no longer living.

An x-rooster, if you will.
Actually, it comes from a quote I heard many years ago: "Better a dead rooster than a running hen." -

We play the "I'm glad Mom didn't name me X" game. We try to come up with names that are total mismatches for our personalities or sound silly with our last name. "Lulubelle" qualifies on both counts. "B" is my true middle initial.
This game is related to the "I'm glad we don't live on X street" game. For example, "I'm glad we don't live on Grumpy Lane". (Yes, I lived for a while in a city where streets were named for Disney characters.) There was a housing development where all the streets were named for the builder's wife: Joyce Lane, Joyce Court, Joyce Circle. We were very glad not to live there. -
I have a lot of aliases, but Artylon is acctually an old RPG character of mine. I also use Iztari, and that originates from J.J.R Tolkien's Istari, and all the magicians in Middle Earth is an istari.

The name crossed into my mind when I was a young teenager. At the time I wanted to be a fashion designer and well, a designer needs a label, right? JJNEOGEO came out spontaneously. JJ is my name. Neo is New in Greek. Geo stands for geographic. So in overall it means JJ's new world.
Several years later, I found out that there is a game console called Neogeo. Boy, it made me upset a little as I was hoping Neogeo to be a special name.
Cheers,
JJ -

before I was focused on college, in my gaming days, DR stood for my class, monk(healer) and burst for sprinting away. As I get older, I find it has come to represent my educational goals.

Jack Mandora is a character out of Caribbean folk culture. At the end of a story, the story teller says "Jack Mandora mi nuh choose none". This is a way of distancing himself from the wicked ways of anancy, a trickster whose cunning has no limits.

exodus 2:22
And she bore him ( Moses ) a son and he called his name "gershom" for, he said, "I have been a stranger in a foreign land."
Many adopters promote adoption with the story of Moses. However, if they really READ the story it shares that Moses eventually led his people that he came from, to the promised land. And by naming his first born son Gershom, which means he was a stranger in a foreign land, i think thats telling of how it feels to grow up separated from your natural family.
I am an adoptee rights activist. -
When I was a teenager I had an argument with a friend regarding the combustability of diesel.
He suggested it would ignite easily with a match, I said it wouldn't.
We were both more than just a little drunk, so i decided to get some diesel, pour it over myself and light a match.
Needless to say, I was right, and he was wrong.
This is where the Diesel part of my online handle comes from, Diesel is also my real-life nickname.
The Lives part of DieselLives is to suggest I will never die, and I primarily use it for online gaming.... you may frag him, but DieselLives forever... get it?
I thought it was pretty cool anyway! -
A friend and I bought esofthub.com back in the early 2000's and had grand ideas of turning it into a software portal or flipping it. That's when domains were a hot commodity (remember when "eWhatever" was hot?). But like most things, I always seem to get in at the tail end and that market fizzled as quickly as it started. But I decided to keep the domain name and received a few emails referring to me as "esofthub." It sort of stuck.

Kaguvkov - This is a Visayan dialect and in English this means "Crunchy" lol. I have this username ever since I start blogging. Before, when I have not yet started my blog I keep on playing chess in the internet and I used this nickname/username just to make my opponents scared in me because they thought that I am a Russian.
