I can eat just about everything, but there's one (so-called) food, I can't stomach. It's Vegamite.
Do you have a food that you hate?

I hate liver and when I was a kid I had to be force fed orange food. When I was thirteen my mom quite force-feeding me liver and orange foods and it took my until I was in my 40s to eat anything orange again. Now I love them. Liver I still haven't tried again. Just the smell of it makes me want to vomit.
I've never heard of vegamite. What food group is it in? -

Okra. It's like tadpoles with their heads cut off. And where the hell does that slimy stuff come from? Nah, that stuff just isn't right.

The one time I ate liver, I seriously was so nauseous that I had to leave the table. My husband and eldest ate my share, and that of my similarly-sick youngest. We hid in the living room until it was gone. I swear, it took three days to get that smell out of the kitchen. [shudders]
I also won't eat salmon in any form or eat any raw fish or seafood, especially oysters. I'll murder some mahi mahi, but it's got to be grilled to a turn first.

I couldn't think of anything until calais50 mentioned black pudding; I haven't even tried it, just the look of it and knowing what it is makes me unable to eat it. Also haven't tried brains of any kind (unless its been mixed in sausage or ground meat without my knowledge).

Long live okra and marmite (but not together)! -

Vile pork recipes. Vile beef recipes. Raw fish or sushi. Sweet potatoes. Okra. Lima beans are hard to swallow, but I can eat them once a year. Blue cheese. Vile lamb dishes. Pet animals dishes. Most Mexican or Thai food, as they usually smell good but burn my mouth. Cilantro. Hot peppers. I am certain there are more choices.
