Summer vacation is a time when I get the luxury to read. When I'm on holiday, I tend to choose entertaining books that are easy to pick up and put down.

I just finished The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. Set in England's Channel Islands, this delightful novel is made up of correspondence between an amusing but caring group of island characters in post-war Europe. It's a fun and surprisingly informative read.

What would you recommend I read next to amuse and delight? (I'm looking for literary lite: Nothing heavy, but not beach trash either.)
