    Hmmmm....The painter writes a poem?

The poet finds he can sell the painting and make as much as if he had worked all week. Afer all ... a picture is worth a thousand words.

Wow ghostytwofish! That's clever man. Now, why didn't I think of that!....

Is it a Haiga that is the combination of a poem (haiku) and a painting?

Cause I think it is, and that's what happens when a poet paints.

      I sit and I paint,
      But I’m really a poet--
      Schizophrenia.

      Writer.
      And Writer.

      (Next I'll sing a duet...)

I am a poet, and I paint a picture with poetry.

So true! A poet paints with words.

Paint with my brush. Paint with my words.
    Scroll down to find both.

The wood of the poet's house is protected from the elements for another few years.

I am an artist and a closet poet..:)

I do both. To express myself by any means necessary is in my character. It's not something I consciously think of doing, it's just part of who I am. I have a need to express myself in a way that has no boundaries. Art is the only thing that brings any sense of satisfaction for me.

His/her words take form in image and colour creating a canvas of movement and life.

Better than half a cow in embalming fluid I think.

I am a poet and a painter I would say I agree with Bella .....tto me its a form of meditation the world simply drifts away no matter which one you are doing

You get some very odd colors or some very abstract art with lots of emotion in it.

A poet paints poetically. A poet paints poetry.

I wrote poetry before I painted. I do both now, although I paint more than I write. I made music and songs before I painted and while I painted, but don't do that much anymore. I'm not a good singer, and an average muscian.
My art is full of emotion.
    A poet paints poetry.
