How many times have you heard these words spoken by a friend or family member or uttered them from your own lips? The "what ifs" and "if only" can plague a person's psyche, focusing them on the rearview of regret rather than the possibilities of tomorrow.

    if only you hadn't..

I don't play "what if"s, you can't relive time so wasting it on what ifs only takes away from the here and now.

if only they would stop saying if only and what if.

On a serious note...I try soooooooooo hard to never say those words, but hindsight is 20/20.... the only resolve I get out of both of those questions is...I would NOTT be this exact person I am right now if we could change the IF's and IF ONLY....
I kinda am content with the person I am right now even if the rest of the world doesn't like it.

I think it is good to hypothesize on certain things so that you can come up with better possible solutions for the future if the experience were to represent itself, however, it is not in ones best interest to dwell on the "what if's."

I think there is more negetive content in the television most people watch or the nasty shty food they eat than something as small as a reflective thought. There is nothing wrong with pondering possibilities, even ones that have passed.
