What If BlogCatalog Members Create a Technorati Faves Train?

We can create our train that encourages others to link to us on Technorati. Every member need to add his technorati faves link to his profile in "About me"
section,i.e. : technorati.com/faves?sub=addfavbtn&add=http://www.yourdomain.com),
then he and his friends mutually add each other to their favorites. For the new friends it would be required that the one who needs a new friend would add him first to his faves on Technorati. Would we start today? my faves link is in my file. Thank you

I haven't participated in an official Technorati Exchange, but just rely on the old-fashioned way with a slight twist: I see a site I like - I favorite it, and contact the site owner to let them know. Usually they'll favorite me back without me even asking...

I did the Technorati Exchange thing once and people are still doing it as latecomers. The last I checked, I was at #89 on the popular list. I don't want to burst any bubbles here, but I did not see any change in my traffic because of it. I think you have to be in the top 5 to see anything substantial happen. -
I am kind of clueless when I comes to Technorati.
How does a person get more authorities? Or I guess what does it mean "authorities" I am ranked about 2 million, LOL ha ha have to laugh at that one.

Inbound links. One "authority point" for each unique blog linking to you.

My problem with Technorati is their customer support....I've asked them numerous times to fix the ping bug...and they haven't so much as emailed me back. I still add people...but I just encourage ppl there to check out the site...that the numbers are off there.-
Ian Kallen, the engineer at Technorati explained part of it in the Support Forums. He is overwhelmed with it. Lots of "false positives" raising the flag.
Blogger accounts seem to affected the worse, yet LiveJournal splogs keep coming thru. Certain installations of WordPress have another problem with the way they are set up, but I think that one has been hashed out.

Authority is the number of blogs that link to you. If you click on the Authority link, you'll see the number of links attributed to you for the last 6 months only.

The more favs you get, the authority of your blog will increase.
Thus it will make your Technorati ranking even better.
It might helps if you write a post that you're participating in TFX (incase you haven't).
