    Dane Morgan posted this yesterday www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/my-new-blog-approved-and-cataloged
    The latest post on his blog is on the same subject: Where beauty is and I think you will enjoy reading his take on it dontcallmesir.com/ideas/where-beauty-is/

    I have been reading your new blog and I found the article on water to be very interesting. My water supply from my well, is neither chlorinated not fluoridated and I think this makes a big difference to my skin and hair. My family members, especially my sister and nieces, love washing their bodies and hair with my well water when they vacation here because it's soft water and their skin and hair looks and feels better.

      Thanks for the plug. You Rock!

      PS> that post is three down now. I'm actually posting to this new blog, unlike my WP/Blogging/Marketing blog.

      Earlier today I was reading What makes us attractive? by by Dan Eden for Viewzone

      "While we instinctively know what appeals to our own sense of beauty -- we know it when we see it -- defining what determines attractiveness is not always easy. In frustration, we often give up and claim that "beauty is in they eye of the beholder." But is beauty really a personal phenomenon?

      Recent studies have shown that the secret of beauty may at last be understood. It seems that attractiveness may be hard wired in our brains."

      Whoah! Had no idea who I was talking to for a sec!...interesting with the well water...I got really sick in college off the well water I was drinking so have been careful with water ever since. Some of the municipal sources around Seattle are super clean though. You can buy your own home water testing kits if interested. Will check out that article from Dane!

      @DocNicole
      We test our well water regularly here and have been doing so for over 30 years. We are well versed in the problems that aquifers can have due to pesticide and herbicide use and with regard to mineral deposition too. We choose to drink and cook only water with that has been boiled and tested, even when it's not required.

    In America, it's what the mass media tells you it is.
  3. thebestonli
    Beauty is however your feeling at that moment in time when you see it.
  4. mrwolf
    Beauty is that characteristic that appeals to your inner self bringing a sense of harmony.

    Beauty is when we turn our focus away from ourselves and focus our love and attention on making this world a better place.

    Here's a way you can be beautiful ..... join in Bloggers Unite to Raise Awareness about the plight of Refugees ..... unite.blogcatalog.com

      Count me in, but I think it might take that and a whole mess of plastic surgery in my case.
    2. DocNicole
      @ Tony! I am already signed up! Great response!

    @TonyB
    Good grief! A link dropper ... lol (just joking) Of course, I will join in.

    2. timethief
      It could have been I suppose. You could have done the lame "add mine to your blogroll and I'll add yours" gambit or the pathetic "comment on mine and I'll comment on yours" -- thank gob you showed some restraint.
    3. TonyB
      @TT... I'm learning. Give me a bit of time and I'll get that move perfected.
    4. DocNicole
      @ TT my you are looking hot today!
    5. TonyB
      Will you scratch my ear?
  7. ekim941
    If I say that I am more attracted to the inside, it will only get misconstrued.
    1. timethief
      @ekim
      Ahem ... always looking for an opening, aren't you.
    2. TonyB
      and we know you're being truthful!
    3. ekim941
      I don't know what makes a woman beautiful but I do know that when a woman says, "NO" it's a real turn off.
    4. timethief
      @ekim
      Well then you'll have to find a demanding woman who will enter an every day pact with you, I guess [she rolls her eyes].
    5. ekim941
      "Take out the garbage, have sex, fix my car".

      I'm glad I'm single, women are too needy
    6. timethief
      Nonsense. Not all women are
      needy" and not all men want a "cling-on". I'm a woman and I'm not all that needy. I'm actually a great provider - I'm an aromatherapist, a masseuse and a tantric sex practitoner. I'm not a sex by contract partner though.
    7. ekim941
      I'm a smart @ss, what's your point?
    8. timethief
      @ekim
      I don't have a point of my own and I do like points a lot, so I guess that's my point.
    9. ekim941
      So what you're saying is that you NEED a point.

      Women are so needy
    10. timethief
      @ekim
      Touche' ♥
      Well no I'm saying that I know how to get a point when I need one.
    11. ekim941
      Are you implying that women can be manipulative?

      This is like totally new information to me
    12. DocNicole
      So much for my nice wholesome vacation bible school discussion...lol
  8. drjay1966
    Speaking of beauty, timethief's new avatar is HOT....
    1. timethief
      @drjay
      Thanks to Vargas I have a sexy new avatar. My husband likes it. He says it resembles me before I colored my hair dark. I think he's hinting that he preferred me as a strawberry blonde. Well, I think I preferred my natural color better too but I'm not quite ready to switch back yet.
  9. morgantj
    Oh this is so widely used but it is true, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
    1. Friday13
      Or "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder".
    2. morgantj
      Yea, them too, beer holders seem to see a lot more beauty after downing a few.
  10. JDh888
    so beauty is a beast

    to pin down

    but it is more inside than outside - i think i am coming to understand
  11. acousticguitarist
    I think Beauty is related to Compassion and Integrity above all other things
  12. coolnailsart
    Being happy with yourself is the true beauty that you should try to achieve. There is nothing wrong with judging if something is beautiful or not, but one should actualize the fact and accept it. If you can do this then you will understand if beauty is from the inside or outside. --- A comment from www.thinkoutsidetheboxtoday.com
  13. Empath
    Physical beauty is defined by the viewer. Internal beauty is the most important. Integrity. Honesty. Values. Crap like that.
  14. OneMuslim
    Dark and Beautiful, Brown and Beautiful, White and BEautiful, Light White and BEautiful,... maybe that's what I called beautiful.
  15. lovesome1
    beauty is...a person who has some substance to their character, a person who owns their soul, a person who is genuinely kind because its who they truly are and not because they want to please everyone, a person that is silly and laughs a lot, and a person that just wants to be happy and enjoy the simple things in life=P
  16. studler
    beauty is the most difficult thing to write and talk about...
