"cottonpicker" it's a word my dad has always said, no malice intended by him it's something he picked up from his dad...but I feel that the origin of it is racist and I always hated it so I never say it

I don't say the word "Goo" any more ... it confuses me if I say it too much. It starts to sound wierd and my tongue becomes paralyzed from the confusion.

Try it: Say "goo" 25 times, and tell me it's not a really wierd word that confuses you.

I kind of know what you mean...however being from California the word "like" pops into my vocabulary as often as the words "and", "or" "because" "the"....so on. I'm sure you get the point.

"bless you" when people sneeze. I've gotten a lot of grief over this, so sometimes I do it anyway. I firmly believe saying "bless you" is totally ridiculous as I don't posess the power to bless anyone nor the power to keep their heart from stopping should they cease to live after sneezing.... I'll say, "DAMN, are you ok?" or "Do you need a tissue" or even "Please cover your mouth, you animal." But "bless you"...I'd rather not.

I never say "everything happens for a reason" because to me that is stupid. Unless someone can tell you the reason, it's just pointless filler to me (no offense to anyone who may have said that to me recently that I have not seen yet)

See I love the C word, but the P word makes me cringe when used to refer to female anatomy. I will call some one the P word and be fine, just hate hate hate it when describing anatomy.

My attempt at explaining awesome... In many public schools in America many students don't acquire a love of reading. A love of reading leads to better word usage.

I have a slightly larger vocabulary than the kids I grew up with. A teacher once asked the class "What is a crush?" I raised my hand and said "infatuation."

A girl after class sneered at me and said "Why did you raise your hand? We all know you're smart." I wasn't trying to out do anyone. Apparently, I did and it offended.

I can not say that i never say it, but i try my best not so say "never" in a "negative way". I have learnt my lessen very well to know that it is a very bad practice to give up and think that it is not possible to do. that's why after a series of incidents i have decided not to say "never (in a negative way)" or "impossible" again.
