what is the average pageview per visit on ur blog ?

i think a page view of over 2.5 is good . how much is yours ?

Depends on your site and what type of page it is. On a sales letter page I'd be looking for a pageview of 1 with conversion of 3-5%

On a blog that is just my personal thoughts on anything I couldn't really care less how many pageviews I get.

If you have an MMO blog you probably want a pageview ratio of more than one, but not too much coz then your advertisers might get scared that nobody will ever leave your site and follow their link

  No, what I meant is you wouldn't be expecting a high bounce rate with content like yours.
  
  I'd love to know how the theme works for you? Do you get a lot of people randomly visiting pages because it isn't immediately clear whether to go down or across, or do they seem to understand your layout and work their way down?

  Since implementing the theme, I find readers do tend to hit more pages, but my pageviews have gone up since going from my original theme as well.
  
  As far as their path, my ignorance using google analytics does not allow me to grasp that clear of a picture of exactly who is doing what.

I think I'm sitting around 2.5, and seeing how my posts are all on 1 page, I'm happy with that that means people go to more of my posts

  I think you're referring to number of visitors instead of pageviews which is a different stat.

Good for all of you.

I'm averaging between 1.3 and 1.8 .. mostly because the most traffic site of mine (PetLvr) is from search engine traffic. They find the page they're looking for and move on. - no stickies.

I think the average pageview per visitor to my video sharing website www.w3clip.com is 3.5, i think it's a good number, and I am still increasing this number.

Mine is 1.59

I don't really understand how pageview works, since with blogger you just scroll down.

It's gone way down since I started participating in Entrecard. I don't mind, though, since I'm more concerned with gaining new readers than the actual stats and it has done that for me.

Awstats says 5.89 Pages/Visit, which sounds high to me.
