    What is your operating system?
Which web browser are you using now?
Is it compatible with your blogging software?
What limitations, if any, are you experiencing?
Specifically, what are you looking for in a browser?

Results from the Discussion searchbox found in the sidebar www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/search.php?q=best+browser

Which version of IE are you using? I'm asking because the most problematic browser of all is IE6. If you have IE6 then your could upgrade to IE7 and your problem may be resolved.

Mozilla is good. But it does not means use that only. Every browser has its own unique use. I use OPERA, IE,FF, CHROME,

      Me too.

Often new BC members arrive and they post "wordpress or blogger" or "which browser is best?" If this is yet another browser popularity thread, like the many pages of posts on the same subject in the forum searchbox, then Firefox is the best across the board IMO.

I'm trying to determine if the OP actually has a problem and needs specific help or not.

Anything but Internet Explorer. Other then IE each browser has it's pro's and cons but the general opinion is that Firefox is the best out there at the moment. When Google gets done with Chrome that could be a viable replacement as well.

Search for these 3 major browsers, you'll fall in love with at least one of them, they're all exist in almost all platforms.

    Mozilla Firefox
    Apple Safari
    Opera

Yes Chrome might be a good option, but i'd rather wait till it got mature enough.

Firefox. Far from perfect but very good.
    Safari goes on my nerves.
    Don't even talk about IE.
    Maybe I'll try Chrome.

some people says that IE is Firefox Downloader
once we installed Windows we need to launch IE to download Firefox, then the IE can get its' retirement.

Preferably Firefox because I can use it on linux, windows & osx. It's not as fast as Chrome but it works a lot nicer than Safari (imho of course). IE should just be put to sleep.

    I say Firefox

I used lynx way back in the early 90s when I had a slow dial-up connection to the university computer. We've come a long ways!

I use Firefox with the great Firebug plugin.

Some of the new browsers seem nice. IE though is probably the best if you want security.

What you can do is use the other browsers just for browsing online and not doing passwords with them; like commenting on blogs say, or checking stock quotes and reading other topics.

Whatever it is it is definitely NOT Internet Explorer. That damn program is terribly slow, so I use Firefox instead. Don't know about any others though, Opera isn't bad.
