    Ithaca, NY

Very tolerant, very liberal. Relaxed and easy place to live.

    Culturally diverse.

The Blue Ridge Parkway...that drive is one of the most scenic in the US and plenty of trails to roam around on by foot or bike & places to chill on a blanket in the sun overlooking the mountains. Happy 4th. Rock On!

The fact that there is stuff to do from taking the kids on a steam train (Thomas the train is here this weekend) to free movies in the park. We can walk 5 minutes and be at the river or walk 5 minutes in be in another state. We have buses to go places in my town and to 3 other cities around including a free trolley. You can get a bus to almost anywhere you would like to go. I can walk to a store for milk or walk to a nice bakery. The worst part about my town is the crackheads.

Well we are not a city, but it has a city feel, filled with artists, poets, musicians, writers, etc, and very vibrant. On the edge of the village are two huge gorgeous state parks, wonderful bike trail, one of the few privately owned art movie houses, pubs, restaurants, quirky shops (no chains), street fairs, art strolls, street performers, hippie wanna be's, bikers, knit graffiti, public art, fresh bread at the emporium, muffins at brother bear, two farmers markets AND a soon to be re-opened Antioch College (woo hoo).

I currently live in Houston, TX. The best thing about this city is that everything here is dirt cheap. Food...gas....houses. The worst thing about it is the weather...the social scene...the ignorance level...the amount of rednecks....the weather...

The city I am from..Oakland, CA.. is awesome. The worst thing about it is the crime rate. Very high. But it's a beautiful city in the hills, beautiful lakes, it's near the Bay, it's got a lot of character...a hillside of pink and yellow box houses surrounded by towering trees. Love that city.

My city is Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana. It has a nice cultural center, the people are caring and hospitable. Your visit to Ghana is incomplete if you fail to reach here. Here we have a powerful King with the golden stool in his palace, the great king is called Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. The place is nice, it is called "Garden City".
If you love to visit Ghana one day let me hear from you. We will tour inside out.

    Mumbai, India.

Natural calamities, terrorist attacks.. Name it and the city has been through them all but still stands up on its feet the very next day..No other city can come close to how resilient this place is.
