What is the best widget you have on your blog so far?

I have just discovered ipod widget, and love it so much!!! I can customize the song list, pick which ipod and its colour, get the code, and voila!

  I think it's not free.. Besides you need to install a CMS like Joomla.

I'm not heavily into widgets and I really strive not to have sidebars cluttered with useless "tat". My best widget is the BC Recent Viewers widget followed by the BC My Neighbor hood widget, and the BC 360 search widget.

  I'm not big into widgets either. I have only the Blogcatalog recent visitors widget currently. I have been considering adding the WP CommentLuv one though. I'm concerned that too many widgets slows down loading time of blogs and can look cluttery.

  Any particular reason why you are not into widget? Can it slow down opening the blog or something maybe?

My U.S. national debt clock is the most relevant I suppose (link - www.oddhammer.com/tutorials/debt_clock/ ). The coolest is my Feedjit live traffic feed. I can see who is logging onto my computer and where they're from in realtime. Plus it shows up for everyone else to see. Check it out on the left.

I just recently started using the SocialVibe widget.
It takes advantage of advertisers who want to promote their brand. Rather than simply taking up space on your site or social networking page like facebook.
The widget is sponsored by an advertiser of your choice and instead of paying me for the impressions, they donate the money to the charity I want the money to go to.

The Text widget is very convenient. It allows you to add text or HTML to your sidebar without editing your theme files.

Can't decide if I like www.voki.com the animated avatar or if I think it's tacky.
I love Twitter, but I'm not that excited about the Twitter badges that are out there. Before I spend the time to program a custom one, does anyone have a badge they like? www.saytweet.com is cute, but it needs some work.

I only recently started to use widgets, my first blog does not allow them. And I started just with wat WordPress offers after their last update. Among them was Vodpot, and I love it!

Another one, maybe a bit boring, is the page widget. I think it looks great. I use it for the subpages (there it worked fine, unlike on another blog) but I think it is very nice. When you click that certain page it shows in the sidebar, which gives a good overview.

It is like playing with so much new toys, I totally love it!
