Topics: blogging, goal, purpose
I have now officially been blogging for a month, although it doesn't seem that long. I originally began this blog simply as an outlet for my thoughts, feelings, and creativity, and as yet, even a month later, I don't have a clear goal or reason other than the pure enjoyment of sharing.
What is the goal or purpose for your blog?
What is the reason that you do blog? And promote?

my blog was purely for personal enjoyment. then i realized that it could also be a source of information relating to festivals and events, as well as showcasing artists and musicians. i feel that i am just a vessel to something bigger and ancient. far greater than i am. i am serving that beautiful master.

I let it wander like my mind, at first it was to show my useless gardening techniques, now it has now morphed into a photoblog of animals I happen upon who are being silly.
Next week I'm thinking of investigating the paranormal with view to disproving scientific theory.
All in all, it will be successful one day, I will become an expert on something. -
A month will soon turn into years if you continue to like blogging.
I started in October 2006 because of a college course in which we were encouraged to keep a diary, so I thought I would give blogging a whirl.
I cant say it is purely one thing, as I blog about a lot of things loosely under the theme of 'me'.

At the very least, it would be a great way to meet other Aardvarks.
Y'know, if eAardvarky.com didn't work out.

I want to pass on a record of this artist's life lived and being lived. I have done it for years in sketch/journals - turned over many to a University special collections library, and now I am posting to do the same via the internet. I have no children to inherit. But I hope some will last after I am gone. The net is another repository of that need.
