I was visited by a friend in Canada I hadn't seen in a while & in the process I did a lot of local things I've been meaning to, including go on a swamp tour & visit an alligator farm.

Divorced my husband and started a rockin' new life. I've kicked my shyness to the curb and met a lot of great new friends, including the best boyfriend ever. I started being a lot more active. This year I picked up 3 fun new activities-kayaking, belly dancing, and running races.

I spent a week cruising the Inside Passage in Alaska on the Golden Princess and then spent two weeks in a quiet cabin in the North Carolina Smokey Mountains just north of Maggie Valley. Oh, do I want to go back!

Knit Knot Tree, although my friend didn't think we were doing something awesome, just did it for fun, but it did hit the national and international news.

Managed to help get my Mum through a really difficult year of serious ill health. When we are out shopping or having lunch together I have to pinch myself that she is still with me! She is awesome!!
