I drink that when I'm at a bar if they don't have MGD.
  2. richrf
Pilsner, when it is fresh, and Sam Adams, when it isn't.

I don't drink often, but my palette is impeccable.
  3. calais50
    Corona with lime and salt
    1. Mhea
I'm totally with you on that!
  4. Theresa111
Ice cold with Jack Daniel wings or steamed shrimp and male large crabs, sprinkled with old bay seasoning and drawn butter. It always burns my mouth though. Might as well add in the steamed succulent lobster tail, too.

    Yeungling Lager - PA's finest
    1. robertstevenson
      What about Rolling Rock?
    2. BlueSunshine
      It's no longer in PA
    3. kdawg68
rolling rock I used to like growing up - but it's not strong enough for me anymore.

Wait - what's not made in PA anymore? Yeungling is - the bottles all say Pottstown, PA on them - the oldest brewery in the U.S.
    4. BlueSunshine
Rolling Rock is no longer in PA.
    5. lordsomber
We FINALLY got Yuengling here in GA. Yesh!
  7. Puffmatty
my favorite will be the first one I have when I leave Iraq in 2 weeks........YES!

    3. robertstevenson
Do you expect to be called back or is this it?
    4. kdawg68
wish I could buy you that first one.
  8. XIII
    Any german or dutch beer.
  9. aningeniousname
Samuel Smith's Yorkshire bitter or Guinness.
    1. calais50
I know plenty of people are mad for Guinness, but I always thought it tasted a little like earwax
    2. RTBjr73
Wait a minute, you'll drink Corona, but will give the smackdown on Guinness?
  10. mariamichelle
O'Douls. It's Ok, go ahead and laugh at me!
  11. robertstevenson
Back in the day, I used to drink coors lite. But when I want to taste the beer, I'd have dox equis, grolsh, or St. Pauly's Girl on tap pale ale, or some drink I used to get in Nottingham mixing beer and cider. (Not sure about that spelling, but hey this is beer)
    1. aningeniousname
That's a snakebite so called because it's just as lethal.
    2. robertstevenson
That's right. It took a few brain cells, but it was worth it.
  12. chrissymarie321
    San Miguel or Stella Artois
  13. angelawd
Currently it's Red Bridge, the only gluten-free beer I've enjoyed. Even my gluten-tolerant husband likes it!
  14. lotusb
I enjoy Stella... but my REAL favorite is Red Stripe...yummo!
  15. riduan77
beer?? root beer.. hmmm,, ginger beer.. Hahaha.. I am not a drinker.. No Alcohol for me.. lol..
  16. harvey96
    give me a tiger
  17. Donlewis
Obsidian Stout. I think it's better than Guinness.
  18. saraho
Depends on who I'm with and what I'm doing. I drink Fosters if I want a light beer. Otherwise, I'll go with Corona, Tecate or Moosehead. If I want a dark beer, I'll visit a small local brewery with friends.
  19. kevingoodman
Becks, but my wifes is Corona so that's what we usually get.
  20. RTBjr73
At home, I like Guinness, warm or chilled. Also Fat Tire.

Out at the bars, I stick with Miller Lite.
    1. 7masterheathen
Fat tire? Are we talkin' cars or beer here?
    2. RTBjr73
they have it here in St. Louis. That's all I really know about it. It's a dark beer
    3. kdawg68
Fat Tire - that's my beer away from home when I travel, as nobody outside of the Mid Atlantic has ever heard of Yeungling.

      Good stuff!
    4. MarkPogue
What about Schlafly? That's a St. Louis beer.
  21. thenibblers
Shiner Bock!!! It is um um good! If you ever get down Texas way, make sure and give it a try!!!
    1. RTBjr73
Oh come on Nibblers, you mean to tell me you won't drink a case of excellent brew of Lone Star? BAWHAHAHAHA!!!!
    2. goodwerd
      Shiner is where it's at
  22. celtophilia
Absolute hands down favorite is Newcastle. I'll give anything a shot, though. Pilsners are great when it's hot outside and you want something refreshing.
  23. Jeunelle
I go for a Sam Adams or a Guinness Stout.
I use to love Heineken but lost the love of the taste when I tried a Sam Adams.
Corona smells and taste like piss water but I wouldn't know I am not a piss drinker. lmao
    1. calais50
Oh girrrrrl, no you didn't! I hated beer until I tasted a Corona.
    2. RTBjr73
Oh yes Jeunelle did!!!! Corona is crap beer. I have been to one of their breweries. It is disgusting, one step above a hot dog factory
    3. calais50
Gasp! You take that back! You are just mad b/c I dissed Guiness, lol.
    4. angelawd
Heineken has a bizarre skunk smell to it. Can't stand it. Have you seen the new commercial where people around the world give each other a Heineken? I'm guessing they just keep passing around the bottle because no one wants it.

I don't like Corona either. It hardly has any taste.
  24. Anok
Hmmm, there have been excellent selections thus far that has my mouth watering for beer

I do like Stella Artois, I like Modelo Negro, I love Guinness, Bass, Newcastle, and a selection of local ,seasonal beers that come 'round and a very few pale ales.

    Yum....
    1. crpitt
We have very similar beer taste, although I am not fussed on Stella except on a hot summers day
  25. goodwerd
There is a Micro Brewery in Houston called St. Arnolds, it's really good. I also like Shiner
  26. BlueSunshine
La Fin Du Monde is probably my current favorite. I also love Chimay, Sierra Nevada, Hoegaarden, Tyskie, and a boat load of others.

Not to mention, I review beer on my blog

A Heineken once and a while.
    1. EavesdropWriter
      Same here, only more frequently!
  28. 7masterheathen
Miller Genuine Draft. It sure would be tasty on a hot summer day like today. In fact, I could use one right now but I'm all TAPPED OUT. Ha ha. Get it? Tapped out? Gosh, I'm funny.

    not.
    1. RTBjr73
      two demirits for hellish humor
  29. 7masterheathen
Damn it. You are correct, sir.
  30. Devilman
I like to keep it real. Up until a few months ago when I was still drinking I would get some mickeys, miller lite or if I felt like riding the short bus that day/night vodka, lime and sprite. Good times right there.
  31. gosmelltheflowers

Well, I only bother to drink two times a year anymore as I no longer enjoy it much. But on those two days, I drink a lot!

One is on the Marine Corps Birthday.

The other is one the date of a close relative of mines, death.

Those days, MGD or Heineken is very happy with me...

Carling Black Label (only seen in England)
    Hahns Ice (Australia)
    Forst (Northern Italy / Austria
Heineken tastes good in Europe, bad aftertaste in the US
Guinness taste seems to diminish in direct proportion to distance from Brewery.

Worst Beer, Elephant beer from Carlsberg. Good for getting sauced, but requires something like atomic chicken wings first to eliminate any tastebuds.
  67. mosudavidluca
    No alchool beer!
  68. myriadlife
becks alcohol free tastes just as good as with alcohol without the side effects
