Thanks for the CTRL + Tab thing. Must see if I can get used to that. I'd rather set it to Safar's defaults. If Firefox had this feature in its menus, then I could tell my system to change the keyboard shortcuts. Since it's not in the menu, I cannot change the keyboard shortcuts---at least not with my bag of tricks.

I prefer a combination of Firefox an Opera. I run Linux and synchronize preferences back and forth between work and home. I telecommute often and use my home machine for work. To avoid mixing business and pleasure I keep things that are strictly personal (bookmarks, saved passwords, etc...) in Opera and don't sync that with my work machine.
I do have IE6 installed on here too (IE4Linux - www.tatanka.com.br/) for those few sites that are so badly designed they require IE or to check out new pages to make sure they format well there too.
I have to support IE, Safari, and FF on about 130 PC's and I can say that from a support point of view, I wish everyone ran Firefox. In my prior job, managing an ISP support team that was supporting 25,000+ users, getting end users to install Firefox was often the end solution for people with chronic Windows/IE interaction problems.

On my Mac: Safari more often than not at the moment, but some sites were designed exclusively for Firefox. I'm happy with other browsers too, though.

On a PC I am more likely to use Firefox, if that is available.-
Safari Might be a good browser, but in browsing it has more Errors than Firefox, and in Firefox you have a session restorer and other powerful functions to use, yet in safari you have no New functions, just old Internet explorer functions updated!!!!, well that is my opinion at least but if you want me to see all you opinions please vote on my Blog vote poll at www.techburrow.blogspot.com

firefox ... safari works like crap for me, and i've never figured out why. (not done any mods to it)
and, of course, IE is of the devil ... and i'd say that even if i wasn't on a mac!

99% Firefox.. love all the add-ons and Greasemonkey stuff... Just the odd site won't work well in FF so use IE Tab in Firefox to easily switch!

Well with nothing you could not surf the the net buddy... and that's why a lot of internet users carried insults to Microsoft for making IE a part of windows, yet nobody even said a word about Apple, who did the same as Microsft by making Safari a part of Mac...well Apple for me is a New Microsoft company..

Firefox Rules....
www.MyBoxPro.com -
Well, I am cowering before I give my opinion here.
I've used Firefox, Opera, Flock, Maxton, Netscape, NetCaptor, and IE.
Opera was fastest for me. Firefox is coolest. Flock is nice for bloggers (watch Flock, it will be very nice with some growth). Netscape is total junk (imho).
But IE7(with IEpro)is my browser of choice because (1) it has the best and the most professional add-ons (professional add-ons are generally published for IE first, Firefox second, and Opera if they get around to it), (2) the best support for the browser itself and the add-ons, and (3)I never have compatibility issues on a website with it.
Features that IE may lack (like in-line search, spell check, mouse gestures, tab options) can be supplied by using a very nice free add-on available at www.ie7pro.com. -
