I'm guessing many people here aren't full time bloggers- So how do you pay the bills?

I am a Tropical Plant Technician ( I care for mostly indoor plants at businesses such as offices, shopping centers, etc.

@ crpitt So what is your secret? (people constantly ask me this!)
    1. crpitt
      Claire's method of cactus keeping

Very little watering, but at least some they are plants after all. I must confess to soaking them every now and again.
A good feed twice a year.

    4. momscrazylife
Yep, it's its own field. Go figure. A field that is in desperate need of staff, unfortunately.
    5. aningeniousname
I think we just call it geriatrics here, I don't think we use that term.
    6. momscrazylife
Ya, it's called Geriatrics here too, Gerontology is just the study of geriatrics.
    7. aningeniousname

Quite. Good thing executives have someone looking after them.
  31. ThriftShopRomantic
I'm a writer for an online marketing firm.
    1. Norski
Best of both worlds, in a way: although I found it difficult to do my own writing, when my 'day job' used the same parts of my brain.

Still: good practice - and one gets paid!
    2. ThriftShopRomantic
It is good practice, certainly. I have a lot of VERY fast deadlines. So it's forced me to work to write clearly, quickly.

The downside is sometimes the ol' brain gets very weary, outputting so much content.
  32. Aprincess4ever83
Publishing/Student/Coach..all full time haha I'm tired.

I am a full time student. I am currently living on my student loans. Evidently there are no jobs for computer techs or network admins/techs in Michigan. I'm going to move soon but I'm not sure where. Maybe Arizona, not sure though... Someplace where ITs can get jobs.
Word of advice- don't come to Michigan if you are an IT person.
    1. LGramlich
I went to school for much the same & (as previously mentioned,) I pay the bills by being a librarian/artist. Best of luck...You're going to need it.
