Yikes-- this seems just unwise for a variety of reasons. First of all, everyone's email address would be picked up by an infinite number of spammers, scammers, and no-goodniks...

Secondly, by the terms and conditions of BlogCatalog we all had to agree we read before joining this community, this probably should be listed as a Shameless Blog Promotion. And as such, it's supposed to generate a discussion and not just generate subscriber leads.

Wouldn't it have been better and safer to direct folks to your subscriber link instead of posting their emails here?

I know this may sound like a lot of blustering about nothing, but I really don't want to see BC folks have hardships about this down the line because they posted their email address here in a moment of poor caffeination, and then are getting blasted with junk.
