One of my favourite posts was my response to the news that singer Corinne Bailey Rae's husband was found dead. I love her smooth as silk voice and had always thought her to be younger than she is because of her light-as-air approach to her music. When I learned of this tragedy in her life, I began to think of the sadness of Billie Holiday and eventually this poem was the result.
