   My fav is Wordpress, but the privately hosted version for added functionality. It has the best gadgets and it's more like an open-source project. Blogger is too Googleish.

   Blogger and WordPress. We use blogger for personal and we use WordPress for company blogging. The reason is because they are popular I have no other link for reference.

   i prefer typepad. i am not at all technical when it comes to design and such, but i like that i can take a basic design and make it mine quite easily, colors and all. i wasnt blogging for nearly 2 years so i quit typepad. it wasnt worth the money anymore for me. now i am trying out wordpressdotcom. it has its good and bad qualities. blogger i just didnt like so much. i guess i agree with the "too googleish" feel.

      If you want a good site you should pay for it. If you are just looking to send your ideas out via a Web-Log then pouring money out of your pocket is not a good idea. I recommend implementing wordpress on a free hosted server. Download some great themes from wordpress.com and it will look 1000 bucks. Here's a theme suggestion: blog.arbune.com/theme-download/
