I'd have to say that crocheting is my passion and using recycled materials in my projects.

My first love is oil paints, but I also love incorporating that into assemblage, carpentry, and also love drawing, doing my sketchbook, photofraphy, knitting, sewing and crafts in general. why is why I label myself a multi media artist

I am working on a photo project called alphabet in life...

That was too hard to follow through. Good luck to me!

Hi, I tried to comment on your blog but I couldn't see the verification code. Maybe it was my computer. The painted rock project is nice and inexpensive.

Personally I enjoy drawing with graphite and working both wet and dry with pastels. I also have several art projects for kids on my site. Here's a fun one that requires only very basic resources:

My first love is music, I sing and play the cello and am also obsessed with discovering new music. I also love art that involves lots of mess, like papier mache' and collages, makes me feel like a toddler again.

what is 'favorite' varies by the day. Last week I was asked to create tissue paper flowers for my child's school play.

Having never done this since kindergarten, I was DELIGHTED with a. how easy it was, and b. how absolutely beautiful these flowers would turn out by blending them with natural elements (such as a real stick as opposed to a chopstick in tissue paper).

I also love the garland that I made and know that I will have to make another one for my daughter's birthday.... These flowers are a STAR and for your sake, I've put an elaborate, illustrated tutorial in the article, so you can have some too!!

Yes, in red or pink, they would make great Valentines....
