   Not another twilight fan.. :| Is it really that good?
   For me it would have been Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a brilliantly funny yet poignant film with a great cast, and what other films can yuo say has a vampire puppet musical as an ending?

      Yeah. The ending was quite a big strong point for that movie. Also the part where he declines her offer to re-coup.

      I'm going to go with Role Models... it was surprisingly good.
      I can't think of any other 2008 movies that were good

   I wrote quite a few articles about the books on my blog in December.
   
   Although, the movie wasn't as good as the book (as usual) I still enjoyed it the best in 2008!

      I thought the Bucketlist was rather boring, but too each his (or her) own
      I do like Jack in almost every other movie he ever made. The Shining, Anger Management, One flew over the Cookoos Nest... just to name a few

   Slumdog Millionaire is my favorite so far but I haven't seen Frost/Nixon or The Wrestler yet and they are both supposed to be really good.

   Funny...I opened this thread to say, "It was NOT Twilight!" Didn't know that would be the thread starter.
   
   I've seen Twilight twice already, and it wasn't bad the first time. The second time, my daughter looked at me halfway through the movie and leaned over to her friend and whispered, "Tell mom she can text."

    Slumdog Millionaire was an all around solid movie. Great concept of contestant having flashbacks in response to quiz show questions. Excellent storyline. I'd highly recommend it.

       "The Wrestler" was a sick movie. I think I dug it more than The Dark Knight. Mickey Rourke ruled, Tomei is still hot, and the heavy metal soundtrack was perfect. Highly recommended.
