Tell me your favorite outdoor game and why? It can be a recent one or a childhood one.

My favorite new game is called the Human Rubbberband. Four people run back and forth inside a giant rubber band.LOL! Here is a blog about how the game works

could this picture be anymore bigger

btw, that game makes it look like they were stoned and thought it would be cool to create their own magical rubberband tubby thing

you know you can resize it by adding Width="x amount of pixels" and height="x amount of pixels" into your code

and you don't have to use them both if you use one it will resize and keep the shape

my favorite game is Frisbee, hide and seek, and volleyball....oh and soccer
    1. LynneaUrania
      Frisbee is great. Also badminton.
    2. busylizzy
I used to love frisbee, until I decided to grow fingernails!
    3. DangerMouse
Frisbee is great! @Lynn I'm not sure about badminton outdoors. One puff of wind would surely throw the whole gain off!

I'm a fan of the eating-while-walking game myself!! I'm quite skilled I must say!
    4. LynneaUrania
That's part of the fun, dear Mouse. Games aren't to be taken seriously so we even say to our opponent, "See the limit lines? They are smaller on your side than mine! The law of perspective says so!"

I cant really do much outside here in GrandRapids, michigan, for at the very least 6 months out of the year. It's usually raining heavily, or way to cold, to much snow, or just to wet out, to do anything other then running to my car. In the 3 months of summer is when I do most of my outside activities but that 3 months goes by soo fast it's hard to get any routine, group games together. Sometimes a little hacky sack is fun though, you can do that in the rain. I guess some people here play hockey outside but I cant stand hockey.

There's nothing better than a few clappers of guyball on a summers afternoon
    1. humanrubberband
      What the heck is guyball?
    2. aningeniousname
Well that depends entirely on whether one is playing the classic three person variation or the more orthodox alternate stickles version.
    3. busylizzy
you just made it so much clearer! NOT! I think you hurt my brain. I'm going to lie down and take a nap...

My favorite childhood game was chinese jumprope. I loved that as a kid.
    1. humanrubberband
What is the difference between that and regular jump rope?
    2. enhancephotos
First you begin with the rope around the ankles of two children.

Another child jumps in the rope with both feet. Then the child jumps out of the rope with both legs straddling each outside rope. Next, the child jumps from side to side. (Straddling each side of the rope.) Then the child jumps on the rope. Then out again. Finally, the child takes the rope, crosses it using their legs, so that their legs are in side of an x. Then the child has to jump out and straddle the rope.

Thanks for the explanation. I've never played for heard of it before.
