One of the best songs I have ever heard is "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" by John Lennon (1967). It is on the greatest album of all time, Sgt. Pepper.
Probably my favorite song ever if I had to choose one is "Eleanor Rigby" by the Beatles. There are many though.-

"Let it be" by the Beatles.I I think that George Harrison's guitar sound better on the album version,playing through an Arbiter Fuzz box(The same fuzz effect Jimi Hendrix used throghout 1970)than the one he is playing on the single version.(which has him playing through a leslie rotating Speaker).With Billy Preston playing the gospel organ on the song.I used to think that it was a gospel song,but it was about Pauls late mother Mary. -
