That's something to shout about I guess
If you use Firefox, you can get an extension called Rank Checker, which is a simple and free keyword rank checker tool. Go here to download it tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/
Simply input your domain name and a list of keywords. The tool will then tell you where yo rank on Google, Yahoo and Live

With 704 searches daily I am ranked 3 and 4 with the main blog on "local news and newspapers" I am only behind 1 and 2 which is the dogpile search results for the same thing. My Facebook page for the site also ranks on the frontpage of that search as does one or two articles on digg submitted from my site. Page 2 picks up the BC reference to my blog, stumbleupon, and reddit search results. Pages 3-10 have various other social media links as well as a few backlink and commentluv references.
I rank #1 for that blog on more than 200 search with between 100 and 500 daily searches and I rank on page #1 of more than 6000 keywords with less a 100 daily searches. -

what you rank is not nearly as important as what you rank for. It is a multiple step process to do it for free.
You can find out how many times a day something is searched for on freekeywords.wordtracker.com/?seed=&adult_filter=off&suggest=Hit+Me
You can check on each search engine how many results there are for any "quoted term"
There are plenty of other keywords tools you can use as well if you spend the time researching them.

I am all of top 9 (meaning 1 through 9) on the first page of google for my own name LOL which actually made online dating nearly impossible back when I was on a dating site, cause my Internet dates googled me

Seems like a lot of people are not sure what keywords they are ranked for. I can understand if your blog is purely for fun but a lot of people are trying to make money using their blog. Not knowing your site traffic and the keywords you are ranked for is like wondering around in the dark. Flick the switch and shed light on your campaign, you will see greater results.

Go to www.statcounter.com
you can get free statistics for site, from visitors, unique and returning, searched words, how long your visitors stay, pageviews, referring sites, search results.... holy moly, you get everything you need to track your stats.
The best part, their free unless you have a site with big traffic then you would want to upgrade the service.
google analytics is great too. -
