      mine is at 5,316 with an authority of 631. seriously if you'd asked me, numbers doesn't mean a thing (for technorati that is).
      
      it used to be a good gauge of which blogs are the best of the rest but now I'd say it gone kaput.

   we should not ignore anything as a blogger. Even If it drive only 1 visitor, I count it useful

       technorati.com/frontpage/
       
       Claim your blog after your all registered and such.
       
       Whenever someone "links" to your blog.. it's supposed to bump ur ranking up. But as you've seen by all the above, it doesn't always work out like that.
       
       P.S.- After 180 days, a link to you becomes invalid in a sense. They would have to link to you again someway to keep it fresh. I.E., link one of your articles in their article, something.
