Hehe. No one wants to share. Maybe cause answering this question is kind of a soul strip. Everybody and me including has got his/her little or big idols. Usually I dont try to clinge to things, they seem to clinge to me. The more things I get rid off, the more come back. Might sound funny, thats just the way how it works so far for me.
One favourite thing is 'nature', thats a thing I cant give away, thats something to care for and also in ways of survival a constant challenge. -

So true! My wife told me that sometimes at night I stop breathing for one or two minutes, that scares her (while she is reading). So of course, when I check my breathing in the morning it seems to be OK again. Usually I stop breathing when I see underwater movies (movies about undewater) not watching movies under water.

When I wake up in the morning I'm usually stumbling into the bathroom...always glad I can find that. Then, doubly glad after stumbling into the kitchen and grabbing a Pepsi to get the circulation moving and the neurons firing.

The sound of a fire crackling in the wood stove is my favorite...it means my husband is up early, having his coffee, being quiet downstairs, deep in thought...and all is well in the house.

Taking the kids to the park, watching them play... the colors in the fall... um going to see a play... mocha frappuchinos from starbucks... spending hours at Barnes and Noble, or better yet in a library.

My kids battering hell out of me, the wife moaning she hasnt had enough sleep, the sound of the computer starting up, the coffee being made in the kitchen

Right away upon waking? Food.
I'm not exactly a morning person, so I rarely have much in the way of higher brain function on waking. -
I'm not a morning person either. Probably because I'm up so late chatting on blog catalogue! So... when I wake up, the thing I look forward to the most, is the snooze that will follow :-)

A hug, a kiss and a big smile from the kids (in the few minutes before they remember to turn into little monsters), a cup of tea and recently, thinking about my first blog post of the day. Sad, I know.

Saying good morning to my dog. He usually has sleepy eyes, ears back and his tail going like crazy. He is such a sweet dog. I get good morning kisses and pet his head. He is so happy to see me.

my children's laughter, talking every day on the phone to my bf, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (yes, to this day), King Crab legs and Lobster, the smell outside after it rains, waterfalls......

First thing in the morning I race downstairs and wait to be fed a big bowl of delicious Stinky Goodness. Straight out of the can!

i live alone and i love it. The thing that wakes me up in the morning is my alarm clock and the chirping of the parrot birds just right next to my window (but i don't own those birds)...
And turn on the television for some global updates....

When I wake up in the morning, I love getting up just before dawn and feeling the coolness of the morning. I love having a morning smoke and love to sit by the water garden we put in out front last spring. The sound of running water is something deeply soothing to me.
I love feeling like I"m getting a head start - to accomplish something before the wife and kid wake up. True, this sometimes amounts to fighting another battle on the PC in Medieval Total War 2 or a similar RTS game.
I love cooking breakfast before the family wakes up. The smell of bacon and eggs cascading through the house. Christmas morning is my absolute favorite. Seeing the little guy run down the steps wide eyed at the mountain of presents brings a tear of joy to my eye to even think about.
To me the morning is magical. I love starting adventures in the morning. Love the smell of dew on freshly cut grass. -
bubble bath with aroma therapy burning scented candles AND massage therapy outdoor... hmmm... soooo relaxing...

I love my peaceful, simple, quiet, stress- & drama-free life. I love all the different birds & animals (even the brown rat,) that come to our feeders & more recently, the babies they're bringing. I love my considerate, appreciative, smart, handsome, funny, etc., etc., husband. I love having a stress-free job that I enjoy & am good at. I love being able to work P/T & still pay my mortgage, freeing up time for my photography & painting. I love our home in the woods & the beautiful view from our deck. I love not only being fortunate in my life, but appreciating my fortune.

Nothing is quite like autumn. The smell, the leaves, etc. It is my favorite time of year. I am visiting a beautiful arboretum in the mountains tomorrow to just walk trails and have a picnic with my b/f. I shouldn't be walking with my injured ankle, but I can't let this time of year pass me by.

Looking forward to go and be with the kids at the pediatric ward of the hospital where I'm currently having my training...
