Yeah, your 'ugh' sounds like you have a problem with that?
I've made the personal decision to reduce my carbon footprint, but I'm not an activist, I don't go round forcing my lifestyle choice down other people's throats. It would be great if more people would sell their cars and use their own muscles or public transport. -
Typically "ugh"'s do in fact mean that the person going "ugh" does not approve. When the world is saved I will thank you.
*this post was written on a recycled laptop on a hemp desk, with wind energy powering my computer. The PC is fueled by dead polar bears. I must go idle my car now for no good reason. Anybody have some CFCs?

I'm currently driving a 2000 Plymouth Neon. Before that, I drove a 1995 Dodge Neon. Nothing better than a car that's easy to manouever, fits almost anywhere, uses very little gas, lasts a long time and comes dirt cheap.

None, but my mom has a gas-guzzling Cadillac.
(I'm 18-- almost 19-- and I don't even know how to drive.) -

A '92 Ford Explorer, the first of it's line. I bought it second-hand a few years ago. I covered it with mosaics comprised of everything from glass beads, marbles and tiles, to mini kewpie dolls, nuts and bolts, mirrors, Monopoly houses and hotels, shells, copper flashing and stones. The interior is very decorated also.
I get a lot of smiles from people on the streets. But I've had some questions from some very confused people, such as, "How's the gas mileage?", (it's an SUV...) and "How do you clean it?", which, like most of my life, I don't. Rain happens.
She's going to the crusher next week, as she's terminally ill, an eco-terrorist belching smoke from a blown gasket and radiator problems. I'll miss her, but there's always the chance for improved decor on the next vehicle. -
I have a white 2005 Ford Freestar. It has plenty of room gets fair gas mileage and is a very comfortable ride.

2002 Chevy Trailblazer
1988 3/4 ton GMC Suburban: Edelbrock 4bbl carb, Edelbrock intake, 350 V-8, 9 inch suspension lift with 35 inch Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires. It's a beast. We call it "Sully" because it's big and blue (like Sully from Monster's Inc.). It's a blast to play with. Lots of fun up in the mountains. Fortunately, I work from home, so it gets driven less than 20-30 miles/week. -

2000 Mercedes ML430. Sucks gas around town, but I only use about a tank a month, so I don't worry about it. It's much better on the open road, unbelievably comfortable for long road trips, and terrific for those South African off-road (or secondary road) adventures. We spent a week in the Natal Midlands where almost every place we went was at the end of a long, steep, rutted dirt or gravel road...we even forded running streams!
Our other car is my husband's commuter vehicle: 2005 Honda S2000 (his second one...the Honda dealership wrapped his first one around a tree!). -
2007 Kia Sorento and I don't like it at all. I miss my 1996 Honda Passport, but it tragically died last year and made it necessary for me to get another car. I was also recently given a little truck, a 1990 Ford Ranger, and I love it. My elderly neighbor didn't need it anymore so he gave it to me. I think I drive the truck more than the Kia now.

Funny you should ask. I just made a youtube video of my cars.

Happy Monday, everyone. -
69 Buick Skylark waiting to be babied and turned into something special. Daily drivers are 96 dualy chevy silverado crew cab (hubby's work) and a 96 Jeep Country with only one of the two fans to cool it when driven. Needless to say it doesn't get driven much right now! Luckilly- I walk to work anyways.

V6 mondeo MK3. Just repaired it myself. The engine light was on ECU fault code indicated fuel mixture to lean, replaced the fuel filter and reset the ecu. Light came on again. Replaced the air filter and reset the ecu. Light came on again. Stuck head under bonnet heard a hissing sound. Turned out to be a vacuum leak near the manifold.
Was a nightmare finding the leak with me pretty much lying on the engine block trying to hear exactly where it was coming from (was getting a bit hot on there I can tell you).
Then I found a great tip ie use a short length of garden hose as a stethoscope to pinpoint the hiss. Worked a treat found the tiny hole and sealed with tape. Just waiting for the new bit to arrive so I can make a more permanent repair. Crap design for the part that failed, short air hose elbow with movement stresses, was always going to fail. -
