What kinds of blogs do you usually like reading?

.. What is your favorite blog genre you search up in blog directories?
Do you ever search for new blogs to read in the directories, or you just end up on blogs through other blogs?
Share your experience 
For example, I very rarely use directories to find new blogs to read, even though I must say the last time I found a lot of interesting read!
My favorite types of blogs which I enjoy reading are either fashion blogs (with a lot of street or personal style in it), personal blogs.. or well I must admit it.. mommy blogs I think they always look so cute and are always a nice easy read with great humour.

I usually search for: Bloggging Tips, SEO Tips, Make money blogging, Blogging hacks etc.-
I once was interested in those kinds of blogs too.. but there is SOOOOO much information, .. it was kind of hard for me to categorize it and really understand what tips really work and what are just a bunch of .. well crap.
so I now just enjoy some easy entertainment read that i can find on blogs

I love to read philosophical blogs. And at best those that have a good mix of personal views and general philosophical views.
And apart from that, I love blogs about blogging at the moment.-
Philosophical blogs are okay with me too.. but do you usually find new things to read on directories .. or you just find them randomly browsing on the Internet?

I find philosophy blogs mainly by specific keywords on Google. Not so much by directories or randomly browsing.
On the other hand are blogs about blogging easy to find by just browsing. And I find many of them on Twitter.
Directories is something I do not think about so often, might be a good idea though. -

Anything interesting really. My tastes are varied and eclectic. Right now it's The Beatles, tomorrow it might be politics.-

I like reading travel, personal and fashion blogs because I usually see pictures on them. I sometimes use directories and most of the time I visit them often when they are in my blogroll.-
a blog roll is a very handy dandy tool to keep your favorite blogs close to you!
my blog roll at the moment has only two people in it at the moment, haha.. not that there are only two blogs that I likee, but I didn't have a blogroll before, so only now im starting to add my blogs on it

I like humor, and comedy blogs. I also like reading about food and wine. Cooking 4 Assholes site is cool because you get both. A good laugh and some good meals. I guess that would be a perfect blog for me. A funny blog about cooking and drinking.-
I have read Cooking for Assholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i think it's one of the most original blog I have read in a long long long time!

I love reading fashion blogs, music blogs and blogs about books. I prefer blogs with more of an informal, personal style, particularly with fashion blogs- writers who just give cold, hard facts leave me a little uninspired. For music blogs, the clincher is featuring a wide range of music (although having tastes in common with me always helps). For review blogs (either books or films), I like a strong and original writing style.
By the way, if you have any blogs to recommend along those lines, I'd be more than happy to take a peek.

I love blogs about web design, SEO, online marketing strategies and so on, although they provide so much information I always try to find the article createvely written that really chatch my attention. -
