What Movie Makes You Cry?...

Titanic, the Notebook, Braveheart, Forever Young...must I go on? -
One of the most recent movies that made me cry was Marley and Me, during the last part of the movie when Marley died. This isn't the only one, though. -
Wolverine. That movie made me cry.-

I cry a lot in films! and at TV shows...and documentaries...I'm quite weepy! But I don't cry at any old mush, it has to be real, soul-destroying pain...the kind that makes you feel like your stomach has been ripped out.
'Penny Serenade' might have been the most heartbreaking film I've ever seen. -
The last movie that made me cry was the film that I saw last night, "More than Blue". -
Harold and maude ... The very end gets me every time -
City of Angels and Ghost. -
Bridge to Terabithia I think was the last one that got me. Having not read the book, I didn't know it was going to be a crying film.
I should have done some reconnaissance on it first.-
I only cry at movies, and the mushiest ones. "Lassie Comes Home" will make me cry more than the death of an aunt or uncle. -
Old Yeller got me.

There are a few like that that have snuck up on me.
But there are only a few films that I'll watch multiple times that have made me cry. I'd just rather laugh with a film. -
Yes that film got me! I thought it was just a fantasy film. -
i also cried in 'bridge to terabithia'...:( but its an inspiring movie for me

Princess Protection Program, that movie was INTENSE! o.0 -
Rudy I've seen it too many times to count and yet I still cry several times every time I see it. -
Movies do not really make me cry but I saw a documentary recently about toddlers and children having terminal diseases, and dying. And it really made me cry. -
Steel Magnolias always makes me cry -
Atonement! and any movie where love ends bad. It both makes me cry and happy. -
Nothing.., i have "strong" heart, but not "cruel" ok!, in sadden reality show, mybe i'm touched.

I don't really ever get to the point of crying at movies, but they do get me choked up sometimes. The last one was Marley and Me...just something about a boy (or man in this case) and his dog that gets me every time.
Plus my son loves "Bad Dog Marley" written by John Grogan and the fact that my son's favorite storybook character was dying on the TV made it sadder. -
The Killing Fields. Long and hard. -
I don't cry easily at films, but the ending scene in "The Color Purple" where her children come back from Africa and Celie sees them for the first time since they were unjustly stolen from her... Oh wow, that just watered me right up... -

The end of private Ryan made me cry when he visits the grave of Tom Hanks and asks his wife if he has lived a good life. I am getting a lump in my throat just thinking about it, damn Spielberg!
As a kid the champ with Ricky Schroder and Jon Voight always made me cry. -
films about animals make me cry.

Titanic. It makes me cry all the time. -
The "ending of the story" sequence in Big Fish brings a tear or two.
Also, The Color Purple, nearly everything from the moment Celie finally stands up to Albert and leaves. -

Babel
...to name a few... -
I am notorious for weeping at movies. The one that does it for me every single time though is "A Little Princess". It was my favorite book when I was a kid and I bawled through the ending of the movie. I also cried when Beth dies in "Little Women" (every version though the one with Greer Garson is spectacular!). I also cry when Jo finally gets together with Professor Baer. Weeping puddle of mush.
TV shows don't make me cry except reality shows that are talent competitions. When the contestants start crying on So You Think You Can Dance or American Idol, I instantly start tearing up. -

The movie is Philadelphia and OMG what a heart breaker it is!
I cry with almost any movie you can think of, that is not an action movie. The last one I saw and wept a lot was "the ultimate gift". My little cousins and nephews make fun of me because I cry with animation movies. But, I mean, who didn't cry watching "The Lion King"?

Can't say I've ever had a movie make me cry, but the closest I've come ... being choked up (without tears) ... is at the ending of Dances With Wolves.
When the advesary within the tribe yells to Lt Dunbar, "I am Wind In His Hair. Do you see that I am your friend? Can you see that you will always be my friend?"
Gets me all the time. -
Dances with Wolves is #1 on my list of most overrated movies of all time.

NEVER!!!!!! You effectively have to kick me where it hurts for that to happen!!
DWW is a guy thing, I think. My wife hates it, as well. Then again, she hates EVERYTHING that Costner is in. LOL.

When it came out (I was young...) Mighty Joe Young. Poor thing -
Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, My Girl, A Walk to Remember (OMG, I didn't realize that the movie was going to be a big crybaby fest - I thought it was just some stupid teensploitation movie. By the end I was a freaking mess!).
Some movies get me temporarily because it's something i hadn't seen in a while and made me think of something else or a memory, but not because the movie was sad.-
Again, I don't cry at these, but ...
Schindler's List - YES!!! Saving Private Ryan - YES!!! -
What gets me the most about Schindler's List is the end - where they show real live survivors placing stones on his grave.
Oh.My.God. I lose it! -
That's the part, Anok! That's the part that gets me.

That and when Schindler starts breaking down because the gold in his lapel pin could have saved another life and the car he drove ... makes me hold my breath.

A Home at the End of the World made my eyes blurry.

I have never actually cried in a movie, but My Sister's Keeper, SO sad -
Indian movie, but i don't know it name. -
Grave Of The Fireflies actually made me cry. -
"The Color Purple" and "AI" by Steven Spielberg. -
ones that almost made me shed a tear were.... click and seven pounds-
Seven Pounds also made me cry. That part when Ezra and Emily finally met... so sad.

A.I. , directed by Steven Spielberg, with Joel Osment. That film made me cry a lot.

Never saw that movie, but I definitely remember bawling when I read the book in middle school...and years later, so did my stepson. -
Wow! Didn't know there was a movie version of this. I've only read the book, and it also made me cry.

My other half recently went to see 'My Sisters Keeper' and aparently the whole room were in tears by the end. For me I cried after watching 8mm and Beerfest... both of which are hours I'll never get back
