Eau de Parfum, Channel's "Coco" It's perfect. Just a dab lasts close to 18 hours. It even smells expensive. This tiny little jewel should last me two years. Santa made a great investment and I really love to indulge in its scent.

I drink a lot of water and tea every day, so my sister got me my very own water cooler. Also got bamboo chimes for my garden, pretty tops to wear, most with lace trim, which I love, some sweaters, iTunes gift card for the iPod I got last Christmas, candles. Santa was good to me.

Your sister must absolutely love you lots and lots. What a very cool gift! :-)

Dozens of things--my family always goes crazy at the holidays. A few of the best were a signed first-edition of Elliott Roosevelt's As He Saw It from my sister, a Willow Tree mother/daughter Christmas ornament from my daughter that actually brought tears to my eyes, and tickets to Wicked from my aunt (my daughter is a huge theater fan).

I don't know what that means.

It's a preamplifier for getting audio from outside of a computer to the inside in a hi quality format. Degredation of sound happens when it goes from an analogue to a digital format, the converters in most sound cards are very low quality. This has a number of other features...hang on I'm sounding like a salesman.

It's good quality but I'm from the old school and prefer working outside a computer, but the editing of audio on a computer is a big plus, but I feel like I'm at work all the time.

    Mulled:

Which pedai, which Celtic book?...I will be around to play duets
    1. mulledvine
Zoom acoustic effects pedal, nothing fancy, but enough to add some interest to my sound.

The book is one you recommended on your blog: Mel Bay's Complete Celtic Fingerstyle Guitar Book.
    2. acousticguitarist
Great, is that the Grossman one with Duck Baker and El Mcmeen

I was looking at that pedal today, little green one, ...how good?
I was considering a BBE but not sure as yet www.bbesound.com/reviews/Acoustimax_Fretsmag/index.asp

i need a few other tones, I'm using TC Electronic Preamp and TC reverb but I need variation but want high quality, please let me know how you feel about the zoom.
    3. mulledvine
It is the green one. I like the Zoom alot but its my first acoustic effects pedal so I have nothing to compare it to. It has very nice shiny buttons if that helps! ;-)

The book is the one you mention. Its only failing in my opinion is that it doesn't have audio clips of all the pieces, but fortunately YouTube has come to the rescue again.
    4. acousticguitarist
It's a great book, and it came out before everyone was adding CD's to books. I found an album in a sale years ago that had most of the El Mcmeen tunes on it. It was called irish Guitar encores. The material in that book is very very good. The tunes that are CGDGAD are incredibly beautiful and are played at a reasonably slow pace, it's almost therapeutic. I've been working thru Stefan Grossmans stuff for 25 years and I always find something new in it. There's years of enjoyment and work in there.

    1. acousticguitarist
      what in particular, my height?
    1. acousticguitarist
still the same height but I'm looking for special software that may be able to help,

regardless, if I take care of myself and everyone else doesn't I'll definitely have an advantage , I've been a vego for 38 years so that has kept me pretty good, and other people I know that are te same age all look like my grandfather
