Music creates strong emotions and can uplift us when we are feeling down or trigger a past memory..good or bad etc.
These lyrics are the first that come to mind..
They say it fades if you let it,

Plenty of lyrics I like out there... but high on my list are lyrics by Leonard Cohen... to the point that "Suzanne" lyrics inspired the title of my second blog, teandoranges. The lyrics to that song have always made a lot of sense to me. -
