What to put inside a wall of my home being built

We're building a new home, and it's at the stage just before the dry wall goes up inside. We only have a day or two before all the walls are sealed up.
A thought came to my mind this morning: would it be cool/neat to put something in a wall before it is sealed up forever?
I don't know what we might want to put in a wall, but this is sort of an unique position to be in. We want to live in this house at least until our children are grown and moved out, and maybe till we die.
So, what ideas can you come up with for something to place in the wall of our home? I thought about maybe a red paper heart with all our family names on it. Kind of sappy.
Whatever it is, it would never be seen or found, but we'd know it was in there, forever.

The possibility exists that should the wall ever be opened it could be your children/grandchildren or complete strangers. How about writing a letter expressing your feeling as you complete this new house and begin your new life in it? Put that in a manila envelope and seal it in. Maybe even a picture of you and the family. Kind of a mini time capsule.

A time capsule... something really important to each one of u....name and date it...plus a family pic of all of u right now as u are....be sure to place it at a spot that can be easily patched

Run some extra electrical lines in case you need them later. You'll regret not doing it when you decide to add thing on.
Chances are, when someone tears apart the walls to do some remodeling or demo, they'll just dump your stuff in the trash. -
Do you have any rare comic books? Seal them up inside the wall!
(PS if you are looking for comic books ... // ah, never mind) -
We live in an older home, and when we replaced some of the plaster, we found the receipt for the original work stuck on the interior of one of the plaster walls. It was dated 1919.
The cost to plaster our entire home? $90.
If you're going to make a time capsule, you could always include something like that to give future historians a chuckle.
We also removed paneling and found that a family had doodled on the plaster before putting the paneling up. Each family member had made a pencil drawing of themselves and written his or her name. It would be neat to do something like that on the interior of your last piece of drywall.

We redid a 1850's farm house. So allwe found in the walls were petrefied rats that looked as big as dinosaurs, and stuff they had stached. I did find in one of the cabinets a weeding band and returned it to the family that owned this house before us. They had it since the 1950's.
I would put a piece of my childrens art work, a werid toy from today, a family picture, and a newspaper -
ok~ here's another suggestion (inspired by the Twinkie suggestion)
There's this video going around how a potato is all wilted and dried up and pretty yuccky looking after 1 month in open air. This was used in comparison with McDonalds French Fries supposedly sitting in open air for 4 years looking identical to the day it was purchased (granted it was hard as a rock)
That might be interesting to see 10-20-30 years in the future when that wall is renovated and torn down what a Happy Meal cost in 2009 and what it looks like in the future.
