I don't watch that much tv, but I do keep up with a few shows. My favorites are Lost and Desperate Housewives. There used be a sci-fi series called Lexx on Showtime I used to love. I think it still airs on Sci-fi channel.
What shows do you recommend?

And my secret husband, Chris Meloni
The only TV show that I'm really hooked on, and know what day/time it's on is Lost. Other than that it's hit and miss. I did watch all the episodes of Dexter, but it was "on demand" so I could watch it whenever. It's worth it ... but not the cleaned-up version they put on the network, you gotta watch it un-cut.

"Samantha Who?"
Very well written and extremely funny. It has high ratings but I don't think a single person I've asked has heard of it, much less watched it.
It's the only show I watch besides LOST, but if you haven't been watching LOST up until now don't bother. Unless you're willing to rent the CD's. Then it's a no miss. -

Don't make fun of me, but I like CW shows. I dunno why. I'm a middle aged woman.
Smallville
Gossip Girl
America's Next Top Model
Another vote for Heros, Bones, Sarah Connor.
Non-network shows:
Flipping Out on Bravo. Jeff Lewis is a freak, but the show is coming back in June I think. Wonder if he'll survive the housing bust.
Design Star on HGTV -- also coming back as a summer fill in June.
Sarah James on BBC I think. Campy kids' show but fun, too. -
Dare I admit to being a Project Runway fan?
Also, there's a show on BBC America called "You are What you Eat." They take people who are overweight and have horrific diets and get them healthy again. Very good and inspiring. Something funny about the show...they get a stool sample from a person, wear surgical masks, and discuss the person's poo with them. I find that part hilarious for some reason.
