I never take vitamins. I use what I have in my kitchen cupboard. Vinegar, honey, and garlic. And i drink a lot of herbal teas.

      Ok ok. Real answer.

I have several protein shakes, and got a bunch of free supps from a store that was closing so I am taking some of them.

      Meta-cel
      Satur 8
      BCAA pills

Then I have a bunch of different thermogens that I won't be taking any time soon. And I was taking fish oil, but I have had to cut that out due to not having a J. O. B
    4. stayfitbug
I see, how are you finding the benefits of fish oil, if any?
    5. dbowles1017
I took the fish oil for joint lube. And it worked great.
    6. dbowles1017

  3. mikeny07
None. I just try to eat foods with the vitamins in them. You don't need any vitamins if you eat right.

Unfortunately, most of the western world are 'busy' so taking supplements even small, is the norm these days.
  4. nogueira
    Many because I have fibromyalgia.
  5. BeamingBalance
I do a multi plus extra B12, D, Calcium and Omega 3. (vegan diet; auto-immune issues.)
  6. ToughCookieMommy
    Calcium and Magnesium
    1. liggybee
I find those two minerals very helpful, too, especially with the kids. Magnesium seems to keep us more relaxed.

I'm taking Vitamin C right now - the problem is that they taste so good and I always want more than one!
  8. trailofpen
I take multi's. Used to take whey protein, but working out increases my lactose intolerancy, which doesn't work well with the whey protein, which basically just gave me gas, but I stuck with whey because body absorbs it better, but then I had gas all the time, but then it helped my muscles recover, so I guess that was the trade off. Never took anything crazy because supplements are friggin expensive. I guess I could have just avoided it all with a strict diet, but that's boring, and I can't handle boring.

I take a multivitamin (One A Day Women's). I live in a dorm with no kitchen so I have to eat cafeteria food and since I don't know what is in it I take a multivitamin just to make sure that I'm getting what I need.
  10. crazyTsu
The most important is vitamin M (Money) and I take a little of it

Oh yes... Mr super food TC. I think you need to write a guest post. Btw, did you get my message in that squidoo group i saw you in?
    2. dbowles1017
do you use the berry greens plus? I used to use it before I became poor
    3. tcinvestor
@stayfitbug...no shaun..I didn't get that message. Drop it by again. I am a lensmaster on squidoo and have a Superfood lens. squidoo.com/superfoods-3 and I would be glad to do a guest post. Thanks. I'll be in touch.

@Dbowles..yea, I really dig the Green's Plus Berry. College expenses don't help when it comes time to cough up $$ for good supplements. I hear you on that but do yourself a favor and get back on the program. Add it to your hgh and roids :-)
    4. stayfitbug
      Added you!

i can't take any right now, but normally i take a multi-vitamin (flinstones, if you must know - not just for kids!), vitamin C, and a B supplement because i have really brittle nails & hair... i don't know how much they really help, but i got into the habit as a kid & they make me feel better! haha
  22. fantasypi
I think vitamin wisdom, and supplement truth, far outweigh the rest.
  23. christibroer
A natural multi-vitamin daily and iron since I have inherited condition where I need extra.
  24. FredSr2009
I think taking vitamins is a must in today’s world. With all of the gene tampering, high use of pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, food coloring, preservatives, and everything else, the body’s immune system needs all of the help it can get. That is my one mans opinion. I take my vitamins daily.
    1. stayfitbug
That is what seems to be happening for sure. I've noticed it in the inquiries receive
    1. stayfitbug
      Nice... Stay fit

I started taking an extra 1,000 vitamin D3. None of us get any vitamin D from the sun in the fall and winter and food doesnt have much. New studies are finding that vitamin D really boosts the immune system and figts the flu. I also take a multi and a CoQ10.
