I'm finishing up The wee free men by Terry Pratchett. The one before was Going Postal by the same author.
I guess I'm spending a lot of time on the Discworld lately.

I looked that up it looks interesting. Have you read any of Neil Gaiman's books. He gets all sorts of gods involved.

The Skystone which I did a review on my Hadean blog for.

Currently I am working my way through The Soulforge (again).

Soulforge must have been pretty good to go through it a second time.

Hadean - as in "the earliest eon in the history of the Earth from the first accretion of planetary material..." or "of or relating to or characteristic of Hades or Tartarus" ? ( wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=hadean )

Barbara Walters "Audition." I'm not through with it - just about a quarter through it. I read Robert Fulghum's "Love Stories" before that - it is funny and a light read. I'm also re-reading "The Frontiersman" by Alan Eckert. It's old, but a factional account of the settling of the eastern U.S. I'm an eclectic reader.

I'm currently reading "The Ascent of Wonder: The Evolution of Hard SF", edited by David G. Hartwell and Kathryn Cramer (1994).

Aside from occasional entertainment value, I'm refreshing my memories of the genre, and studying the stories.

I am currently reading "Genome" by Matt Ridley. I just got finished with "The Devils Chaplin" by Richard Dawkins. Genome is a really interesting book that goes through and explains each of the twenty three chromosomes, one in each chapter. I'm only six chapters in and I feel like I have learned more about my species then most people ever will. "The Devils Chaplin" was okay but I much preferred some of his other books like "The God Delusion" and "The Selfish Gene"

"Eleanor of Aquitaine" by Alison Weir. Brilliant history. The dual queen is one of my heroes

The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. I learned a great deal from reading this book about life mistakes and lessons.
